I was going to post a similar question earlier.  Would the result of this game affect who USF faces?

I know bowl games are no longer chosen based on conference standings, but instead on match-ups and attendance.  WKU makes for a good story (coach that has rebuilt a program vs his old team that he built up)  Marshall and LA Tech (another good story there) have been mentioned as possible

no one knows that right now. The way the bowl system is now is not with much logic. More of ESPN TV match ups
