This reminds me of a better version of the 05 year when we beat WVU on the road..that was the start of several good seasons with Grothe.

I've aways thought with great coaching we could easily become the east coast version of Boise State..right now we are looking the part.

This.

USF is bound to be the favorite to win the East next season... and with Navy losing almost all of their starting team (10 on offense, and like 6 or 7 on defense), I don't think any of our conference opponents could beat us -- assuming we are able to keep the coaching staff intact.

There will be some questions on the OL and DL... but we have a lot of talent that transferred in and had to sit out, along with some players to redshirted, and at least one player who had academic issues that should be back.

We may start the year ranked (or at least getting votes) and things could fall REALLY WELL for us depending on the schedule.

i think amichia moves to RT to replace Mak.  Gibbons to LT.  Either galati or ruff will play center and jeremi hall replaces thor.  We will actually be bigger with that line.  Whether thats a good thing or not remains to be seen.

Defensive End is looking kinda sparce however.  We just signed two juco guys so thats kinda telling.

Edit: keep amichia at LT.  Gibbons to RT

However we move players around to replace our 3 biggest contributors, the O line is once again going to be THE focal point for whether or not we can repeat this type of season IMO.

I don't remember a run like this either. I hope UCONN can pull it off and give us a shot at our first championship.

We are playing like a ranked team.   I and not saying we should be necessarily but were playing like one.

We are ranked, it just is 47th by CBS before the performance in Orlando yesterday.

Maybe we move up to top 35 depending on how things shake out across the land.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
