Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe if Taggart can beat either Cincy or UCF he will be the first coach to get 5 conference wins. 

Quite an accomplishment and turn around considering where we have been for the first 2 1/2 years of his tenure.

I think you are right and we are also getting better as the season progresses.  That is probably a first as well.

Back in the day we used to start off hot and fade as the season wore on.  I am not sure we all fully appreciate the significance of that.

Just went back through 2005 which was the last season in CUSA. The best conference record we had were several 4-3 seasons including the 2007 #2 run.

Only time I clearly remember the team getting better was Grothes freshman year when we late in year won at wvu.

But usually we would start fast then fade.

It can't be denied now.  We are a decent team and we moved a notch above "sneaky good" to "good"?

Cincy is a better matchup for us too.  Can't wait til friday.

Well, in CJL's defense, that was the Big East. But the AAC is proving it's no slouch this year either, so this would be no small accomplishment in the shadow of the last 5 years. Good post!
