Auman published TSA actual attendance figures for years.

I don't believe he published them in game stories.  Maybe as a side note in twitter, but not in official game reports.  No one does that (except the current TBT reporter).

That's fine, but maybe he needs to be asked why he literally is the ONLY person in the entire world who reports actual attendance in their reports instead of announced.  Why is that? And no it is not

One theory is that those reporting the attendance saw what taking shots at USF whenever possible did for the career of a local porn stached "journalist".  One reason most others schools' actual isn't

Knight doesn't do that either... because they are not available when the "official" game reports are filed right after the game... TSA doesn't have the numbers until the next day.

That is correct... but because a lot of media make this request of the TSA, the TSA has gotten into the habit of releasing them.

That I don't know... but it seems that multiple media sources report the numbers at about the same time via Twitter... it is possible TSA just emails the reporters who habitually ask for the info.

Remember, it's a public record, you have the right to call yourself.

That's probably the most likely scenario .... and personally, I don't call that TSA announcing anything. The numbers wouldn't be out there unless someone has asked about them.
