Awesome some quote on quote action...

Where you at GA?

JTrue can you pls explain this to me? Thx

Normally, you have to pay double for quote on quote action.

You are on a freakin' roll.  I owe you a beer for making laugh during what so far is a bad start to the season.

Other than the FAMU game Taggart coaches teams have not had a commanding lead on any team. The offense does not control the clock which is what Taggart wants to do. That is why he has an emphasis on the run game and the limitation on the passing game. For his team scheme to work the defense must be stellar and the offense must be efficient. Right now the defense is good and the offense has yet to come around.

Also, for his system to work, we really can't get too far behind in a game.  Even when the scheme works, you can't chew clock with long sustained running drives in the 2nd half when you are down by 2 or more touchdowns.  I think the opposing defenses are fine letting us do that and run the clock down for them--so we may get 7, but it it's helping the opponent win in the long run.  If you look at our wins against Tulsa and SMU, we overcame a deficit and won when we finally completely abandoned the scheme and went into panic mode (my opinion).  Uh-oh, we're gonna lose and we're out of time...go out there and be Tom Brady.
