I mean he had no help from his receivers, who dropped 2 touchdown passes. Could he have made a couple of more plays? Of course, but he did nothing to put usf in a losing situation.

You have a complete lack of football knowledge if you think Flowers cost USF the game today. The defense, the receivers, and the o-line were really, really, bad today. Not to mention some of the playcalling.

 

That's about all that needs to be said.

He did the best he could, but we need someone who can just make  FEW passes to open it up for the run game.  He took plenty of sacks and threw bad passes which is the knock on Bench.  I think Bench has a better chance to make those few passes though.

He is a competitor and is doing the best he can.  I don't think the WRs or coaches are helping though.

I am astounded that some are still on the QF train.

I have been since he got here last year and I still will be until he leaves. While he does have some poor passes, he's a playmaker. We saw bench come in and mishandle a snap, almost fumble a simple handoff, and throw 2 interceptions. I'm just hoping that woulard can come in sometime this year because he is undoubtedly the best qb on this team.

QF can only execute 20-40% of the playbook and so he is not being setup to win...

 

Whether or not he is our best option to win is still a question mark unfortunately though

Yes but now I am not sure we can win a game with this formula.  We have two OCs and an offensive analyst.  Let's go back to the drawing board!

We had a receiver HIT a touchdown out of our receivers hand. They either held on the screens or didn't block their man. And there were more than one drop.

 

I didn't say Flowers was good, anyways. Just that He didn't cost us the game. The drop, combined with the defense letting that TD right before the half, changed the entire game. Along with pulling Flowers after a TD drive. This team is bad in many aspects.
