FSU was in a downward trend. We had a great defense and they didn't know what to expect with it being BJ's first start. I believe they also took us lightly. It was the perfect storm for an upset.

Defense was key. They played such an excellent game.

 

That and FSU wasn't a top program at the time. I think they ended up 6-6. This year's FSU isn't going 6-6.

I agree... The keys were a monster defense, an offense that was simple but could find ways to get things done.

I'm excited by what I saw in our defense on saturday. Things seem to be on that same kind of track.
