Had 'em when I was a homeowner there.

Understand.  We have been having torrential downfalls for like 2 months.

I thought our torrential "downfall" has been the last 5 years.

No, no, no. You're not factoring in "Skip's Recruits".

We were going to lunch before some major lawn mower work, and my son saw this car and freaked out:

Went out to lunch and see there is another Bull out here in the desert #BullsUnite #GoBulls pic.twitter.com/dTnaeRHinm— Bulliever (@Bulliever) August 16, 2015

We still get thrilled at the thought there are others like us out here in this god forsaken desert.

If someone showed at my door dressed like a Bulls football player I would think it was an elaborate ruse by the IRS.

We saw this car in the parking lot of our hotel in anchorage, Alaska in July. What are the chances of two Bulls families in the same hotel 5000 miles from Tampa?? Looks like they were from south Dakota. Edited by bullman3

As a student-athlete he will have advantages I do not have.  He doesn't have an air conditioning bill above $1,000, and will be coddled his entire time in the desert.  Tucson is cooler anyway.  Probably doesn't get above 113 there.

Seriously??

Yes.  But that poor kid is going to Yuma - I don't know why I thought Tucson.Yuma's a hot toilet.

The air conditioners do not stop running this time of year. Seriously and literally.  It runs all day and nearly all night to get to 78 degrees.  78 is often 30-40 degrees below outside temperature.  We have a refrigerator in the garage.  The handles get to hot to touch.  Stupid.  Can't use the freezer because it doesn't freeze.  #hellhole  I feel bad for the Bulls that make that kind of bad decision.

I worked on a solar plant in Blythe, CA...a few hours west of Phoenix.  My first trip there, I had to visit a supplier after I landed in Phoenix, in August...straight from the airport.

That night, when I checked into my hotel, my deodorant was GONE.  Melted while in the trunk.  120 ambien heat, but that trunk likely got to 150+ sitting in the sun for a few afternoon hours.

Even in Blythe, in the AM in August, it could still be 85-90.  It just seems to barely cool off.  I knew then that area was NOT for me.

I keep thinking that with all the global warming we'll be the first to die. Then I contemplate how here, in the desert, we have no lawn watering restrictions - unlike Florida and California - and I'm totally confused.

Yeah but yall are gonna have a nice long coastline once all the glaciers melt and California goes down under :)
