Down 7% over 14 years.  I would call that plummeting.  Maybe it just a slight variation to you, I dunno.

Per that article, it's UP 2% over 14 years ... skyrocketing it is.

Um, lowest in 14 years is up 2%?  That is some strange math.

2000 Attendance = 42,631

2014 Attendance = 43,483

You do the math ...

My bad, though.  It is actually down 7% since 2009.  I'm sure it is still skyrocketing using your math.

2008 Attendance = 46,456

2014 Attendance = 43,483

It's down 6.4% since 2008, 6 years, which comes out to a drop of a little over 1% a year ..... again, down but hardly plummeting.

One can play with numbers and usually make them say want you want them to.

1% per year over six years isn't plummeting?

Really?

Would 25% make you happier?

I don't get why folks are so argumentative. The overall consensus according to reports and studies is CFB attendence is trending down. Are there exceptions and people who find loopholes? Yes.

Some on here won't believe it until all the stands are completely empty.  They'll be ready to close the barn door after the horses are gone.

Then we don't need to be even having a discussion about an ocs until the plummeting plateaus out ...

Clean bathrooms are pretty important.  The bathrooms at RJS have fallen off in the past seasons.  Hot and smelly, and the stench is a side effect of it being too hot in the batrooms.  Does it cost the TSA that much to run the A/C in those bathrooms?

The public WiFi at RJS is pretty pathetic.  It is next to impossible to establish a connection, and when you do, you get zero throughput.

If "world class" NFL stadium cannot get its act together, how can anyone expect the college stadiums to do it?

Which is why Club access is the only way to go for Bulls games ...

If I am to judge, yes.  For this topic, one percent per year is a very high speed.

So by that logic, if attendance was increasing by 1% it would still be a high speed  trajectory?  (1% of 40,000 is 400 by the way... basically that is about one section of stadium)

Maybe this also means that if USF goes 5-7 this year we are making a very high speed turnaround?  (25% more wins than 2014!!!)

I know what you mean. When I convinced Cameron to take his dad's Ferrari out when we skipped school some parking lot attendants took it for a joyride.

You didn't convince him...it is possible to say no to the great Ferris Bueller, you know.
