  1. Great matchup for USF. Respectable SEC opponent that has a terrible offense, I like our chances.
  2. I like Adams but man does he fumble a lot. Ball is never safe with him. Quickest receiver we have ever had though.
  3. Taggart did go 6-18 his first two years, and I would say SMU obviously improved from year 1-2. Definitely more of an noticable improvement than USF had under Taggart in his first two years. 7 years though? Yeesh. It's a desperation contract to keep him.
  4. He would be crazy not to take the Oregon job if offered. Top tier facilities, PAC 12, Phil Knight. I hope he doesn't get offered.
  5. Houston runs our exact offense seems like. That last touchdown looked exactly like Flowers.
  6. It is foolish to believe USF goes undefeated until we make some serious changes on the defense.
  7. That was one of the worst no calls on offensive PI I've ever seen. Then they score on the next play.
  8. I'm no expert, but from that blurry video it looks like he hit him with the crown of the helmet. Would need a better view, though. Brutal hit regardless.
  9. You guys care too much about rankings. Yes we are 8-2 with an amazing offense, but our defense is one of the worst in the country. We don't deserve to be ranked, and the voters recognize that. We could just as easily lose our last two games as we can win them. The cotton bowl is out. WMU or Boise would be in before an AAC champ. USF just needs to focus on finishing strong and fixing the defense, if we finish 11-2 or (hopefully) 12-2, the rankings take care of themselves. It means nothing to be ranked right now, we could lose it next week.
  10. I almost feel bad for Cincinnati. Almost. I am going to miss Tubberville though. Taggart has owned him.
  11. I hate to say it... Memphis 45-34 Flowers Adams 420 i don't have faith in our defense. I'd love to be wrong.
  12. The only way I would be pissed off at the bowl we get is if we play an opponent we already beat (like Cuse). None of the bowl games matter to us except for the Cotton bowl, anything else is a nice bonus to cap off a good season with extra practices that just a few years ago we weren't getting. But I also won't be going. I am in Europe and will buy tickets for my family back home, wherever it is.
  13. So throughout this week I have been feeling pretty negative since that loss, and with a strong possibility that we will lose on Friday (I don't think Navy is a better team really, they are just a match up nightmare for us) I feel like I need to focus more on the positives, and it got me thinking... We have had two previous coaches, and while I loved Leavitt's passion on the sideline, sometimes he seemed like a cartoon character with the scowl and the stomping around. Then with the Holtz era, we had a coach that just stood there like a zombie showing no emotion, good or bad. Now, my favorite thing about CWT is that I think he strikes a perfect balance in his area. He isn't running around on the sideline like a maniac, but there are multiple times this season that the camera has cut to him and he is cussing somebody out, even when we are winning. I particularly appreciated him chewing out who I assumed to be our d coordinator over the headset last week. It's great to have somebody that shows some passion, but maintains control over the sideline. Opinions? What is your favorite thing about CWT?
  14. They played UConn. wait for the Houston game.
  15. Safeties coach. He would have 4 games plus a bowl to interview for the job. Woodie has shown he can't get it done, this guy has proven himself at the highest level in college football.
  16. I'll second (or third) this. We have one of, if not the best QB in our conference and all some people do on this board is ***** about him. the numbers don't lie, 15 touchdowns PASSING, More rushing. Going to be a 1000 yard rusher, doesn't turn the ball over often, he will own every USF QB record when he leaves here. that defense though. I really have nothing positive to say about their performance this year.
  17. Total defense rankings while he was defensive coordinator at Tennessee: 2013: 63 2014: 32 2015: 45 We don't even need to go looking for a new coordinator, just promote this man! If we had a middle of the pack defense we would have won last night.
