  1. Collin AKA Trump wannabe sounds like a spoiled kid. (taking his toys away)(his site) from those who don't believe what he has to offer. I don't subscribe nor would I ever subscribe to such nonsense. (not good for business)
  2. Wanted to wish everyone a Happy and safe Holiday season. Also want to thank USF and the students/players for all they have accomplished on and off the field/ court this past year. Thanks to Judy, Harlan the Coaches, staff and people in the Athletic dept. Happy to be a Bulls fan!!! Take some time out this holiday season and thank our Military and their families for all they sacrifice on a daily basis. Stop and help someone in need(feed a homeless person, donate to a charity or volunteer). Happy Holidays and Go Bulls!!!
  3. Disappointed that he put himself before the team by violating the curfew. It appears that they were all warned that if they missed curfew they would be sent home (which he was). On a side note love what Im seeing from Coach T more and more everyday. Its clear he cares about the players on and off the field and he is trying to help them grow into Great Adults. Example: We were at the host hotel on Sunday before the pep rally, stopped by the banquet room to say Good luck and Go Bulls. Coach T was standing close by the door talking with someone. I yelled in Good luck Go Bulls. Players in the room playing ping pong didn't hear or acknowledge the well wishes. Coach T blew his whistle to get their attention, and Yelled for them to stop and listen (which they did). He than thanked us for coming and supporting the team and so did the players in the room. Nice to see him molding them into Great Young men.
  4. THIS^ Just like the name Lots of Bull. Is this thread really needed? The man just won 8 games, took us to a bowl(first ONE since Holtz) just got a nice contract extension. Did you really need to start this thread and ask that question.
  5. from what I recall (unless im mixing up the game vs Clemson) (being at the game and getting tickets thru USF) We were seated about the 20 yard line to endzone.(band was in center of endzone I believe). NC State like Clemson had the opposite side of the stadium and other endzone. I also remember pretty clearly the pep rally downtown charlotte and the MC commenting over and over how we outnumbered NC State (at the pep rally not the game)
  6. 1. Winning team ( USF) THE GOOD GUYS 2. 38 - 24 3. Mack, Goes over 100 yards and sets another USF record and possibly a Miami Beach Bowl record as well. 4.Adams has a great day with nearly 100 yards receiving 5. 420 yards. (I always pick 420) who doesn't like the number 420?
  7. Id give it an 8. Been too long since We have taken our yearly Bowl vacation. Also glad that it was Miami this year, First for USF to play a bowl game in Miami, much better location than Bham,(horrible stadium) Orlando, St Pete, Hawaii(for fans to be able to travel). Looking forward to a few days down in Miami and South Beach.
  8. Not only the things you mentioned above but the AAC(American Athletic Conference ) (Our conference) owns the bowl game. (not ESPN). One would think since our conference owns this game we would have the Prime seats. Harlan and Judy need to speak up at the next AAC meeting about seating for this bowl game esp and all others we are affiliated with. The way seats for bowl games are giving to the schools and fans has always been a pet peeve of mine. Until University AD'S , Presidents and fans say enough is enough , the schools will continue to get the crap seats. They (Bowl games ) stick it to the schools( schools eat tickets they don't sell) while the bowl is paying peanuts in payouts for the two teams. The good seats go to Corp donors, sponsor's ect.. Friend works for Outback bowl and every year we got FREE tickets on the SEC side 50 yard line about 10 rows of the field. As much as I love USF I fully understand why people buy tickets thru other sites instead of the school for bowl games. (Factor in the expense of traveling, hotel, meals, fun ect...) Sorry if the school takes a hit, and not to sound ugly but they can absorb the hit better than the average fan. If they want to sell more tickets than negotiate better seating with the bowls.
  9. The Playoffs or Peach Bowl would had been the best no doubt, but we got the best AAC bowl if not bowl game after those I mentioned. We get to play in a bowl owned by the AAC not ESPN, (our conference premier bowl). We get to play in Miami (huge recruiting area) we get to paid 1 Million which is more than (St Pete 535,000, Bahamas 450,000, Boca Bowl 400,000 http://www.statisticbrain.com/college-bowl-game-payouts/ Helps big time with money for program. Cost will be lower, not that far to go , expenses . Its One of the First Games if not first so no other to compete against. Great story line with Coach and old program so ESPin will talk it up which leads to more exposure for the program. His new contract will be talked about as well showing our investment in football(hello Big 10, Big 12). So I think this is the Best possible bowl for USF other than the Peach or Playoff this year.
  10. Weather could be issue tonight, Raining here(about 60 miles North of Philly). Been raining all day. Sounds like Husky weather to me.
  11. Full Throttle, Pedal to the metal and step on their throat when they gasp for one last breath. Not only do I want to win , I want to hand them the worse loss in College FB history. Go Bulls.
  12. More nervous about our vehicles than the game. Hopefully with it being Thanksgiving, and their 0-11 record will keep the idiots away. Also hope USF has a test taster for the team meal as well. (they stayed in Orlando last night). Friend of mine worked in a hotel years ago and told me some horror stories about what happened at times to the visiting teams food.(laxatives). So as long as the hotel staff doesn't slip them something to mess up their stomachs, and the Bus doesn't break down on the way to the Stadium we should be fine. Tonight should be fun, I cant wait to get there, Bring a jacket or coat( will be chilly and windy tonight). Cant wait to hear our fans celebrate and out cheer them in their tin box. Go Bulls
  13. Are we offering free tickets and Transportation for students Thursday (esp those not going home for the holidays)? If so great , If not why didn't USF reach out to the season ticket holders and donors to see if we would be willing to buy a ticket for a student to attend as well? Also if they have any extra RALLY towels(like the white ones handed out a few games ago) or pompoms they should place them on the USF section seats so we all have the same towel ect.. to wave. Would make a nice impression on TV. Feel free to move to any other thread appropriate.
  14. Would def grab their attention, Might even get their name displayed somewhere on the stadium as well depending on the size of the donation(funds raised). If I had the time and experience I would do it myself , Unfort not up to date with all the Kick Starter or Go Fund me things( older here and technology seems to be passing me buy lol). I will gladly commit to donating though if one was started
  15. He was the OC QB coach for 6 years at LSU prior to FSU. LSU will pay him more than FSU is paying him now. (They will pay what they need to get who they want) SEC is a dream job (playing in ESPins Best conference). Also not winning the ACC Atlantic division this year may be enough to get him to jump.
  16. Based on reports and his body language Id say there is a good chance he wont be on the sideline next year when they come here. LSU rumors are heating up, and his interview to squash the rumor was far from convincing (looked down to the right instead straight when replying to the questions). LSU has boatloads of money to throw his way and its reported they are willing to pay the buyout as well.
  17. Able too (YES!!!!) , will we unfort no. Willy will call off the sharks before it gets that bad. Willy if you read this board please Don't call off the Sharks, Run them out of the Building , make them quit, wave the white towel or leave the field. Play hard until the final whistle as if we are losing. Blow these clowns out (they deserve it) (don't think for a minute they wouldn't do it to us if they could). Send Oliar out with the most embarrassing beat down in football history.
  18. Rather have cpl areas around the stadium with Live Bulls in them, (def place one on the visiting fan side and make the visiting team walk by or thru it each game)
  19. We should think outside the box. Start the donation fund asap allowing EVERYONE to contribute that wants too, start a Kick starter fund as well. Sell Bricks and Blocks." Buy a Brick campaign" (Sell bricks for cpl hundred a piece allowing people to have names on engraved on them) , Do a seat deposit similar to what the Bucs and other teams have done , Sell Name plates to be placed on seats like they have at Navy Marine Corp Stadium and the Performing arts center in Tampa. Tap into the former players (NFL Players). Add a stadium surcharge(cpl bucks per game) to all future games starting asap (this way the donation doesn't seem like a big hit). Sell advertising everywhere and anywhere you can, inside and out. Def get Mosi downtown and try to hit up Vinick as well. Hit up the Glazers (least they can do considering the money they make off of USF and the fact they donated a lot of money for Tulane's Stadium As for Lemonis 1 million is a lot of money esp from someone who went to Marquette(not Miami).
  20. I like the list as well but would include the First team to wear the Green and Gold. The first players who ran on to the field (old stadium) and put up 80 points in our first game. Beating Kentucky Wesleyan 80-3. (Was there and have been here ever since)
  21. Agree 1 million is nothing when we are talking about a stadium. However its a start, Its money in the fund, its also getting other people on board as well. (more than we are doing here at USF) Would be nice if USF had a OCS fund created that people could donate too. Might be surprised at how many that may donate.
  22. Dropped off some items today to donate at the Life Path Hospice Thrift Store on South Dale Mabry (great store to donate too btw). Figured why not look around since Im there. Saw a USF football that caught my eye. Picked it up and it had an autograph by Skip Holtz on it and said Go Bulls. They were selling it for 10 bucks. I Would had bought it if it had ANYONE else's autograph on it but his. Thought it was funny and sad, 10 bucks is all they think they can get for a Skip Holt autographed football. Its still there if anyone feels inclined to get it.
