USF wins keeps the winning streak and conference championship hopes alive 38-27 (holding another team well under their avg for points scored) Mack followed closely by Flowers. Adams keeps the TD streak going as well. 420 yards. ( I suspect we go over though) went with 420 yards because who doesn't like the number 420? Also didn't want to go over.

Wouldn't call them meaningless for the reasons MAMA mentioned. But as any informed fan knows, Polls are a joke for the most part. (biased and skewed to favor the Power 5 schools) . However they are far from meaningless and have huge implications for a program when it comes to perception, recruiting, tourney bids, seeding's ect..

Not being a Debbie Downer here but don't see USF playing in a NYE bowl this year even if they win out. Too many teams would need to lose , drop big time in the polls. Unfort the loss to MD hurts and having 4 losses eliminates us this year. Now anything is possible, and depending on what the Mouse and those in ESPN's pockets (college playoff committee ) say, they could surprise us but HIGHLY UNLIKLY. The way they would have to do that would be to artificially inflate and pad the SEC Champs resume .Show that the Ole Miss loss to Memphis wasn't a bad loss for Alabama, The Fla win at home over ECU wasn't a fluke (saying ECU is better than their record) . ect... People need to realize that ESPN which basically owns college football and ALL but a cpl of bowls will do everything they can to ensure that their cash cows(SEC, ACC(ND is part of ) will be in the playoffs). Next year cant have more than 2 losses bottom line. With that said, winning out will do wonders for us moving forward , esp next year. The exposure will help recruiting, the extra practices, not starting so far back in the polls ect... Wont get us to a NYE bowl this year but will still be a successful season.

I suspect that Memphis is only in the rankings because they beat Ole Miss in their bld by 13. By keeping Ole Miss ranked they can spin it to show that Fla has a good win over them and artificially raise them in the polls , ALSO to spin it like it wasn't a Bad Loss for Alabama as well to keep the SEC Bias going strong. They cant drop Memphis from the rankings until they lose again while keeping a 3 loss Ole Miss team in the rankings. ESPin and the crooked playoff committee at it again Luckily for us, Our conference is appears to be ESPN's 6th favorite conference. In most years(more years than not) we(AAC) should get the News Years day Bowl . I suspect the Playoff spot wont ever happen unless we have a team run the table with multiple wins over power 5 schools in one season.

Agree Cincy has the shorter week, They prob lost at least a day of practice most likely due to travel. Our team knows what is at stake, They should be fired up and ready to go.

Lets just outnumber their fans in the stands and beat the crap out of them on the Field is all I care about. We need to invade Orlando. Its a nationally televised game. Would speak volumes to other conferences (looking to expand) if we out numbered them. Also would show Bowls that we are willing to travel as well.(may help in the bowl pecking order).

Looked on the HOT website couldn't find anything under the calander. I did see that the band will be in Rome on New Years Day 2017. Congrats to the Band. However Just thinking ahead here that the timing may be bad though. If we continue to improve in football as we have this season, I can see us having a legit shot at a New Years Day Bowl game next year. ( will be sad if we actually make it to one of those bowls and have NO band in the stands).

Does anyone know if we will be taking the Band to Orlando next week? (we typically take them to Orlando and they bring theirs here) but with the game being on Thanksgiving Im not sure? Would be nice to have the FULL BAND there.

Personally I like him and so do those sitting around me, He also does the BB games and Lightning games. He had a difficult job with Football the past cpl of years but has done a good job in getting fans involved in the game when it was Dead silent. What annoys me more is the HOT announcer who does the pre game show. "Home side Gooooooooooo Bulllllssssssssssss" "Away side Goooooooooo Bullsssssssssss" "That's hot"

I beg to differ that Cincy is better than Temple. Their head to head indicates otherwise. Their Overall record also indicates otherwise. SOS also indicates otherwise. Cincy hasn't beaten any good teams this year. The only win I could find against a team with a winning record was MIAMI and they suck big time. I agree cant sleep on them, and I don't think we will. I also think our defense is built for teams like Cincy so that plays well for us as well. Our offense is clicking now as well.

We have never played on Thanksgiving so the curse of Thursday Night doesn't apply.

Sounds like your police are nicer than ours (or have been in the past). Our police have been known to use Tasers on fans who go onto the field.
