1-3 is just pathetic, But what is worse is the overall record of Taggs at USF. Look at the wins FAMU, Western Carolina, UCant(UConn twice ) Tulsa, SMU , and Cincy. That's in 3 years folks. Once a proud program with a rabid fan base, knocking off the likes of Auburn, FSU, Miami, ND, WVA, Kansas ect.... is now a team that cant beat teams like Memphis , UCF, Temple ect... No excuse for this. Time to right the ship and fire Taggs. Sitting back and getting excited with moral victories(covering the spread in a loss, not getting blown out ect... )need to be over. It like being excited to be the tallest Midget or for winning 2nd place( the first loser , but still a loser).

Agree with Smazza here ^ . How many more loses can we afford? Each loss cost us more fans (tickets sales, donations, Jerseys, memorabilia, MONEY) Doing nothing is costing us TOO much, we Cant AFFORD to do nothing. Time to rip the band aid off and stop the hemorrhage.

Understand both sides of the coin here, (firing now or waiting to end of season). Taggs is not Harlan's guy so he gets a pass for now. Once we are NO LONGER in bowl contention than the heat is also on Harlan as well. I can see the benefit of pulling the plug now ( 28 games and we haven't turned the corner is enough for me personally) (gives us a head start in our search and makes a statement that we wont tolerate Losing like the past two clowns have done). I can also see the risk that the team may quit and not win another game the rest of the season by pulling the plug, But it will happen if we continue on the losing path as well esp the one's who think independently and don't but all the Coach catchy phrases and see him for what he really is ( a good recruiter only). Keeping Coach T you risk losing not only the games but more of the little fan base we have left. Some may come back if / when we turn it around, others will move on and never think about USF again. Is it a risk worth taking? Now the attendance last night is not entirely Harlans fought, (he didn't create the mess) but its his responsibility fix the mess, to build and maintain a fan base while running a clean athletic program that wins.. Harlan is in a tough spot, I wouldn't want to be him. If he doesn't fix the problem he wont be here too long either I suspect. (not saying he wont or cant, he has done a good job so far considering what he was handed and has to work with) but the honeymoon is coming to an end.

Look back to the losses this year and last. 3rd qt has been our Achilles heel. We play well enough to win in the first half (FSU, MD, Memphis) only to get blown out in the 3rd qt. This is squarely the fought of Coach T for not making the needed half time adjustments to win the game. The other teams make the needed adjustments and run off 10/20 straight points and we can not over come that. (one could argue if you win the first half you don't need to make adjustments) but that is the reason we are losing. COACH T doesn't know how to make the RIGHT adjustments during the game. He is in over his head.

Band Uniforms were ok, Liked the White jackets, not the Gray pants so much. The Guard uniforms are horrible though. (Agree though have seen much better uniforms). The Band will blend in next week for the White out. So all is not lost.

My section was half full if that, My row was empty other than the two of us. The visitor side looked like a BAD HIGH SCHOOL CROWD. PATHETIC!!!!! Can only imagine how it will be as the season goes on.(next week we cant use as a guide since its homecoming and we typically have more people at those games( at least until the end of halftime). I cant remember a crowd this sparse in all the years Ive been coming to USF games(since day 1). Thought Skippy's final few games were bad but this is an ALL TIME LOW.

I don't like to generally talk about players normally, but since they are now "paid athletes"(stipends) and are over the age of 18(which make them grown a-- men), they are fair game. (want to get paid to play, than be prepared to take the heat when you suck or make mistakes). Agree Sanchez was exposed tonight, Could had been much worse but for some reason Memphis didn't exploit it more often. I suspect the Reason Sanchez is playing is because he is a "YES SIR" WILLY T guy. Almost every video or interview that Ive seen him give , he says the same thing over and over "We want to be a defense that Hits you hard "blah blah blah. He is lost in pass coverage, makes a few nice plays against the run game but cost us big time tonight with his back to back blown coverage (gave up a huge TD). He and Coach T are a lot alike, All talk , catchy phrases and no backing it up. Time to sit him and play someone else, Also time to take Taggs out of the mix as well.(Fire him TONIGHT, let Allen act as the Interim head coach to finish the season while we get a jump start on our new coaching search.)

In theory its a great idea, but execution will be horrible. We don't have enough fans to do ANY color cord game(white outs) unless we do a RED OUT. Too many empty RED SEATS.

Im hopeful with the talent we have compared to Memphis (if you believe in recruiting rankings) ect..., we make it a game. Im also hoping (not hopeful until proven other wise) that coach T finally put's the players/team in position to win for a change.(not hinder them) No more bone headed calls or inserting back ups in after we score a td (Bench in MD game). Just give us an equal chance to win with the players/talent. Keep coaching out of it and we have a good shot to win this game.

Need to be on the phone now lining up potential replacement before other teams start looking as well( as season goes on). This way we get to be first in line to make the offer and hopefully lock it up. Taggs needs to go, Need to do it like a band aid and just rip it off fast.

Hey Coach , Still sitting on this broke down bus, waiting for someone to drive it. Time to get off the Bus or find a new coach, What you going to do Harlan? (Keep Taggs and have NO FANS left or Fire him ASAP and try to fix this mess).

Not worried about LB, Esp with the hand we were dealt yesterday (ejection) and two other Defensive players serving suspension. As for Fullwood that was pathetic. The 70 yard cook run and he doesn't even try to use his arms to tackle,(TRIED TO BUMP HIM WITH SHOULDER ONLY) the TD pass just over his head(put your arms up and you knock the ball down or intercept it). He appears to think that using his body is enough. They need to sit him on the bench or teach him the basics before next week. The old saying goes "you as good as your weakest link" and I think we found a weak link in are chain.

Today will be interesting to see how it plays out. The Bucs(FSU's Jameis Winston) host the Titans and Marcus Mariota. (#1 AND #2 drafted QB's in this years class). Time to see how it plays out. As a Bucs Fan hoping we got the right one, I believe in the long run we did. What happens if Marcus plays lights out and Winston flops( will Bucs fans have a melt down). Lots of similarities with the Bucs and Bulls.

MD is def winnable, Depends on how the team responds to the loss today. Need to hold their head High and forget about today's score, Learn from the mistakes and we should win next week.

Just got home, don't want to read thru 37 pages or more, But Why didn't we see BENCH in at QB today like Willie said, esp with Flowers struggling at times( missed several open receivers, ran a few times when he should had thrown it away or hit an open guy). I don't believe Bench came in at all, But maybe I missed it.

Horrible call to say the least. Not sure but it appeared they were an ACC officiating crew. FSU got a lot of calls, we didn't get a lot we should had(holding on them). The spotting of the ball was JV league at best. However not saying this is the reason we didn't win(we made too many mistakes, didn't capitalize when we had the momentum esp early in the game).

Just got home from the game as well. Long day and proud of the progress I saw ( we still need more work but that is another thread). I did hear some banter going on close to us. It looked like a UCF fan (guy wearing UCF shirt)was standing and saying something to some OUR fans or cheering for the Noles??? not sure, All I saw was the UCF shirt and Our fans responding by chanting FIU FIU FIU. The guy at down and nothing else came from it.

The Notre Dame game was something, Two delays, (evacuations of the stadium twice). Longest game Ive ever attended (Prob the longest in college football). With all the delay's , heat, early start time , rain, ending late at night, sill one of my favorite Road games ever.

Creative Travel Tampa still has Room on the bus or did as of Monday this week and game tickets in the USF sections. (bought our tickets to game thru USF, BUS ride thru Creative Travel Tampa). Charter Bus is leaving USF campus 6am (board time 545 am) from Marshall student center Cedar Circle. (free beer, sod, water, donuts , Bathroom, DVD Player ect..) Up and back the same day. For those in Pinellas they also have a pick up location: McDonalds 2675 Roosevelt Blvd. Largo 0415 am ( don't be late bus wont wait).

The Rutgers game a few years back in NJ(last time we played them there) It was cold as hell as well ( was below freezing at kickoff) Had heat warmers in my socks, gloves and hat. Wind chill was in the single digits to below 0.
