We shouldn't really be fighting among ourselves where BULLS FAN's buy their tickets or not. ALL Bulls fans should be welcomed regardless of where they buy their tickets and where they sit. More Bulls fans is always a good thing. Ideally it would be great if everyone bought thru USF but there are legitimate reasons why people look to 3rd party sites. I have Season tickets, have for years( since beginning) Buy the bowl tickets and away games from USF as well but have bought a cpl of road games over the years from 3rd party sites. (I wanted prime seats that USF couldn't offer me, not the Nose bleed , end zone or corner seats usually offered to the schools at FULL PRICE). I bought my Navy Tickets thru Navy this year for the better seats.(doesn't make one less of a fan). (FSU and UCF thru USF this year). The problem is visiting schools usually get the crap seats, same with the Bowl games. I understand the whole buying from USF ect... to support and show the numbers but when people are spending their hard earned money for flights, cars, hotels, and tickets, you cant blame them to much. Sometimes its ok to sit in the bad seats to be among Bulls fans, but other times I want the best seat avail esp if Im spending thousands of dollars for a weekend football trip. If we want to complain we should complain about the system in place (giving the crap tickets to the schools, while the good seats go to the general public or sponsors). It would help ALL the schools if they had prime seats for sale, (don't know why Conference Commissioners don't fight for this esp in bowl games).

High school football should NEVER be a reason why our fans don't show up. Not stirring the pot or hating, but anyone who uses that excuse other than a parent of a player playing in a high school game is weak. Also glad the game is on Friday, (Makes us one of the few games on National TV at that time , night, unlike Sat when its a full slate of games).

Good catch there, looks like ur correct, IF all 3 of us end up tied than Cincy would have tie breaker over us (winning the head to head), Will they have tie breaker over Temple since Temple beat them already ?

AGREE Cincy will be a test and battle. Looking at common opponents and their schedule, this is a VERY WINNABLE GAME. They beat AAMU the week we beat FAMU by similar score, they lost to Temple by 8, (we beat them by 21), They barely beat Miami Oh by 4, lost to Memphis by 8 ( we lost to Memphis by 7, They beat a bad Miami Hurricane team by 11, they lost to BYU by 14, They beat UConn by 21, (we beat UConn by 8), they beat UCF badly 52-7 but who hasn't?. they lost to a good Houston team by 3, beat Tulsa by 11 yesterday. Think we match up well with them, Our defense is made for teams like Cincy. Our offense is clicking lately as well. So if we play our game, play to win , not lose, limit mistakes, we should win by dbl digits.

Considering USF is an institution of HIGHER LEARNING, this is long over due. Most research shows that Smoking is the leading cause of preventable deaths. The goal of any higher learning institution or healthcare facility needs to practice what they preach while educating the population. (Glad USF is banning smoking). We need to educate our youth, lead by example and promote a healthy environment for all who come on campus. I used to smoke about 30 years ago so understand the want , the need and the addiction of Tobacco. However after I went to Nursing school and saw what smoking does to people first hand it made me quit.( spend some years working in Heart, Lung Transplants and saw what damage it causes to the body, not only on the outside but inside as well)(not a pretty picture). I know some will say its their " right to smoke" while this is true, Its also the rights of NON Smokers to not be exposed to 2nd hand smoke.

Now that we knocked off Temple we move up to a Hunted spot as opposed to being in the Hunter (spoiler roll). Cincy and USF both clinched bowl eligibility this week so there in no pressure as far as that is concerned for either team. On the flip side though We have the ONLY shot other than Temple to represent the AAC East in the championship game. Cincy is mathematically out of that race. We can not let our guard down, We need to play with the same or more intensity than this past week( bigger goal is within reach). Cincy and UCF will be looking to play spoiler role for sure. Lets take care of business in our house(Friday vs Cincy) and Thanksgiving in our second home of the season (UCF's bounce house)(I suspect we SHOULD have as many or more Bulls fans in their bld than they have considering their record, date of game and the beatdown heading their way) ROLL CALL for Thansgiving : Got my tickets section 233 row B

I didn't have the same experience as some mentioned above. Any Temple fan I had contact with yesterday was smiling, friendly talkative in a nice way. Thinking back to the game in Philly a few years back they were also nice as well. ( had a few invite us to join their tailgate) Did have a cpl give the friendly BOOO as you walked by but did so while laughing in a joking manner than started talking nicely. So I cant say anything bad about my experiences with Philly Fans during USF games. (Now the Lightning and Bucs games vs Philly has always been a different story and the typical Philly Fan).

Last night Was the loudest, most engaged(fan support) game we have had in YEARS. Place was loud, and people were into the WHOLE GAME. People showed up on time ( not the end of the first half like in past) Majority stayed until the end ( didn't leave in the 4th like in the past). Felt like old times, Now lets keep the energy and momentum going. ( pack the place Friday night) and WE NEED TO TAKE OVER the Bounce House in Orlando the next week , (make it a home game for us). You know they wont have but a handful of fans considering their record, the day of game and the BEATDOWN coming their way that night.

Like to see us beat the crap out of Cincy Friday on National TV ( but think the game will be closer than I want). UCF game should be an easy win, but anytime you are playing a rival (esp one who is winless in the final game of the season) anything can happen, I see us winning though.( like to beat them down like the JV program they are). Bowl win and the extra practices are huge, Helps with recruiting, national exposure, the additional practices , and a early start for next year. Conference Championship game is possible but if we don't make it there, The season is still a success considering the mess Taggs and Harlan inherited. Nice to see all the progress with ALL the teams (national rankings by several). Things are def looking up on Fowler Ave. Next year we should be a Beast in the conference and nation (Football) . Next year we get back into the National polls and make a lot of noise. Go Bulls

Not sure where u sat last night, But No complaints here, Thought the Music was great(people up on their feet most of the night involved in the game, SWAYING , Dancing, ect.. ) Band was also loud enough to be heard as well from where I sat. Crowd was the loudest it has been in years. Im sure the players could hear the crowd unless they are deaf.

Couldn't find anything listed for game day giveaways for tonight other than the pre game Military fly over (coast guard) , and the Huge win . Did I over look it? Rocky Bobble head is next week if I remember correctly. Thanks for the info and GO BULLS

I think there may be more to the YBOR story as well like was mentioned in the thread by Skingraft. (just a suspicion). We only know what was reported, and has been leaked out.( I hope Im wrong). We may never know the real story. I also hope that Coach has the players attention now after this past weekends arrest. Would like nothing more than to see him succeed. We don't need any more bad news with our program. Now is the time to capitalize on the winning, while keeping our players in line and not being arrested. Would be nice to have something good happen after the past few years.

ESPN at one time voted it as the best game day experience in football. They have a great fan base in Dowdy Ficklen Stadium

Also keep in mind If you are going to tour the Academy, You cant drive your vehicle in unless you have a Military ID, DOD ID or Handicap plate.. You can park outside , go to the visitor center to get in. Def worth doing the tour. Also while in Annapolis try to get some Crabs to eat as well. Crab cakes, crab soup(great this time of year) and of course the famous Steamed crabs. Annapolis is a walkable city as well, Great restaurant's, bars and lots of boats( sailing capital of the world).

I Hope so as well Trip, HATE to see that be the reason for his termination. I suspect none of us knows what Harlan really thinks or not. But we cant ignore the facts that we have stunk for most of his tenure and when we did start winning this year we had 3 bad things happen the night of the home victories. Plus the whole retractable statement by coach T regarding Ybor.

Call what you want brother, Its the facts. Didn't bother to look up which coach that u referred too or try to figure out which one you meant.. Usually on this board if someone makes some statement that is a fact we ask them to provide the link. That's all I was asking from you, nothing more.

No it was not knowing what assistant coach you were referring too ( we have several on the BB staff) and not doing a google search, Instead asking you if his charge was in line with Plies, That's all. Don't read into it.

Said I agree with Skingraft , think there is something festering under the surface. 3 home games with wins and 3 major incidents following( one death, 2 charged with shooting and one with Drugs and a felony).
