I don't think FAMU is the worse of the paid to play teams, but they are in fact what their record suggests and that's not very good. I give their coach and his players credit for fighting hard and who knows what happens if the clock problem doesn't occur. They certainly had the matchup they wanted with Rudd guarding their quick PG. The positives for USF was Rudd taking and hitting mid range shots instead of of jacking up a bunch of 3s. Corey Allen was stellar again and what a clutch 3 he hit to take back the lead late. Hawkins went from a guy that wasn't going to play to having his best looking game of the season. He needs to build off of it which helps USF offensively when Allen is the main ball handler because the pace is quicker. If LeDay doesn't get it together quickly, then he's going to be rarely seen in conference play when the bench tightens up to those main guys getting the minutes. Zach looks like a guy that misses home and a taken scholarship candidate at this point. If USF beats Miss St then they should win out in the OOC schedule and be ready for Memphis to open league play. jumping the gun a lil are we
