Yes and no. He has definitely changed the culture of the department and of each of our sports programs, so even if the coaches were there anyway, I believe he is doing a better job of enabling success. Second, I think him keeping Fernandez was huge. Correct me if I'm wrong but I remember some drama with Woolard and Fernandez's contract - something like either no extension or a weak one or something. Also, COA was a Harlan hire I believe.
