    I've never quite understood how so much unauthorized info gets leaked from USF's athletic dept. If it is unauthorized stuff that shouldn't be made public, why isn't USF athletics doing more to root out the blabbermouths spilling inside USF athletics stuff to certain outside media cats. Centcom's headquarters are down the street from USF...maybe get some of the intelligence guys from down there to hang out around the athletics' office weekends and after hours to sniff out and plug up all the leaks?

    Awesome scheduling Texas and BYU. It wouldn't really bother me if USF played exclusively against big-time college football programs from Florida, Texas, and California with independents BYU and Notre Dame thrown in too!

    NC State dominated USF...they seemed to be a balanced team that can do some damage... I wonder if NC State might have enough juice to knockoff FSU this weekend in Raleigh?

    FSU may be national champ now, but Notre Dame blows everyone else away with its shoe/apparel deal with Under Armour. ND signed a 10 year endorsement deal with Under Armour earlier this year for $90-100 million...biggest endorsement deal in collegedom.

    The gold chrome helmets the team wore last night sure are eye catching...almost need sunglasses to cut down shine watching team play in them. Are the helmets maybe a little bit too hotdog?

    Louisiana Tech, Notre Dame, and San Francisco 49ers are going to play Bulls at Ray Jay....not at same time though.

    LOL: 'Wesley Chapel is the new Compton.' Wesley Chapel now aka 'Da Hood.' Compton needs to expand its city limits to fit in all the rappers who say they are from Compton! Plies is from Ft. Myers which is a cool place to be from. Glad he's USF football fan.

    My uncle served on the USS Satterlee destroyer at Pointe du Hoc D-Day. He never talked about it.

    Coach Mathies should be able to find an attorney who can get charge dismissed or at least get charge reduced to careless driving or something less than DUI. Anything can happen in court though. It'd be my luck with a DUI charge to be in court with my defense attorney a few minutes after someone informs a hot-headed hearing judge (like the judge in Brevard county last week that got in fist fight with attorney in hall behind bench) that my defense attorney is cheating with the judge's wife.

    Innocent until proven guilty. Coach hasn't been convicted yet of anything...just charged. He may or may not end up with dui conviction or he may even end up with a reduced charge after blowing about $10,000 with an attorney. Regardless, driving while drinking is so stupid. If one just gets tagged with just a misdemeanor for driving drunk, be thankful. If you clip someone while driving drunk and seriously injure someone of kill someone...you are looking at time in a Florida state prison...or as a minimum, a felony that makes it almost impossible to get a decent job, and it can wipe you out financially. or too you can end up killing or hurting yourself in a collision driving drunk. Coach is maybe lucky he got stopped when he was by cops.

    Bummer. Even if you are stone sober, it isn't smart driving around Tampa streets at 3:40 in the morning on a weekend.

    Fontana is gone. Knocked down and new private apts built on the site. The space ship building being finished at Fl. Poly...USF should hijack it and fly it over to USF Tampa campus.

    Pizza joints serving 'real New York' pizza don't have 'employees must wash hands' signs in their restrooms.

    The USF graduation ceremonies are kinda bland. The money USF saves not having to pay commencement speakers, maybe lengthen ceremony an extrar hour and set up an open bar at graduation and give everyone attending maybe 6 drink tickets!

    I don't think USF has keynote commencement speakers. I think President Genshaft talks some, an award or two are announced for a few grads, then all graduates march across stage. That's about all that can be accomplished in 90 minutes.

    I don't remember USF having keynote commencement speakers at graduation ceremonies I've attended at USF the last few years. Were speakers so bad that I just remember them speaking, or doesn't USF have keynote speakers? I'm guessing squeezing in speakers is too much for the 90 minute ceremonies.

    We're thinking about upgrading and getting a new TV that has one of those new fangled remote control thingees.
