  1. I wanted so badly to attend the AAC Tourney, but wasn't able to pull it off after 10-day Florida trip for funeral and other family obligations. Now with Memphis already out it will really get interesting.
  2. Not a huge fan of Charlotte for sure, but it is close to my crib and beautiful parts of the Piedmont and Smokies. One great thing about NC is that it offers a little bit of everything to satisy various tastes, from beaches to mountains, Nascar to wine country, etc. Love it up here.
  3. As with football and basketball, "almost" is no longer good enough and cannot be the standard for USF. I hope they can turn it on soon. I am rooting for this staff to stick around and be the ones who build that success. Go Bulls!
  4. In spite of the wistful Jason Isbell imagery, I would take a hot day in hades over Hattiesburg. Charlotte is in my backyard and a definite. Rounding up the troops now. Should have a good contingent. Nola always tempting. Checking the temperature of my more social-minded fellow alumnae and fans. West Point, whenever, is a must. Bucket list kind of trip. All that said, pretty much any football road trip can be a blast. Just enjoy the journey. Go Bulls!
  5. Still trying to rearrange my schedule to get there. I am pumped but still I'm hoping this is not a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Go Bulls!
  6. I and my entire high school basketball team were at that one.
  7. Only been waiting about 52 years. I think we are ahead of schedule. It has been a season for the ages but hopefully this is just the beginning. Go Golden Brahmans/Bulls!
  8. Yes, they messed that up. Toughest game in conference may be @Tulane a week after Miami. Will plan to be in Charlotte with a group of USF expats in GA/Carolinas region. Also that Tulane game may be tough but it should be a fun road trip.
  9. The good news is that I bought my ticket but can't go. So the jinx will still be far away.
  10. This could be good for us. Might keep him out of the SEC and Big East anyway.
  11. Does this mean we're only going to get a new schedule every four years?
  12. Looks like Chiefs may be in the running for Mike Evans, so MVS coming would be a fitting (and less expensive) swap if that occurs. Would be fun to see him scoring again in Ray Jay.
  13. Beating them handily to launch our best season run ever probably got their attention.
  14. Not good thus far. Let's hope baseball can overcome early season woes as did FB and MBB.
  15. Amazing! Has engineering confirmed that good ol' "Sun Dome" can withstand three sell outs in a row?
  16. This is why I oppose the metric system!
  17. While I generally agree with this sentiment, I am a little more worried about Memphis actually waking up and how that may affect us if they make a late run.
  18. I think this is sad but true. The good news is we finally have a team that I feel confident can beat anyone in the conference. Go Bulls! Let's go for a clean sweep.
  19. In this age when all these funky metrics so outweigh head-to-head performance and the eye test, the bubble watch bites. Now we pretty much have to win every game.
  20. Because evaluating a hire should be done before the hire? From past coaches and relationships I have learned you may not be able to clearly evaluate until after the divorce is final.
  21. Had my ticket and was ready for the alumni pregame and this big game but now have a family funeral to attend. Probably just as well, given my effect at the games I have attended over the past five decades. Go Bulls!
