    Not much of an offensive explosion by the Bulls so far today.

    All except for the 4 Tigers who've entered the other end of that portal .... It may be telling when the coach's son is one of those hitting the portal. Or it just may be that he can read the writing on the wall. That would be an interesting conversation to overhear: "Son, I love you, but you got to move on...."

    Yeah, I remember when my soon-to-be bride left her position at USF and one of her possible opportunities was at Arkansas. I told her simply: "Darling, I love you and I would follow you a lot of places. Arkansas is not one of them." We didn't pursue that any further.

    Drove thru their campus on one of our vacations up in that area. Nice area. A little over an hour's drive north of me and they have recently opened a campus in my new hometown of Hickory. I went to their home opener last season. It was fun but now I'm holding out for them to play some games here (JK). They did for play men's basketball in Hickory. That didn't go so well as they lost to UNC Asheville. So they may not be back.

    Here's an approximation on our funding compared to other schools in conference: NIL Collectives – American Athletic Conference Schools – Listing of all NIL Collectives & Revenue by School NIL-NCAA.COM I'm suspicious of how ECU is shown in the lead and how they may be compensating its players.

    After back-to-back huge wins in the Boca Bowl and USF Spring Game, and our dominating championship in men's basketball, we're a shoo-in to any conference of our choosing.

    I left my heart (almost literally) in Austin circa 2021. Haven't been able to summon Bulls baseball enthusiasm since.

    Lets not throw stones, the American did not fare well either. Only because they didn't select the Regular Season Champion Bulls. The SEC, Big 12 and every other conference and team were clearly waaayyy overrated!

    I would expect anyone with his height an talent to test the waters and see if there is the fabled "Bigger Better Deal" available. I wish him the best no matter what he chooses to do. NOW STAY! Go Bulls!

    Yeah, while I truly don't give a FF, I don't think you can beat your chest about USF being AAU and being attractive to Big Boy conferences and not really care what other programs think of you.

    Minor edit. A lot of people wouldn't be doing their jobs if he wasn't considered and mentioned for the Louisville vacancy, among others. There are a lot of reasons the USF job is attractive: Location and lifestyle, no income tax, good facilities, winnable conference, etc. In the end though, business is business.

    He always seemed more concerned that the players' jerseys were tucked in than whether they played well. I knew we were in trouble when he said had he known USF was going into the Big East, he wouldn't have taken the job.

    I liked the old UCF Arena that they dubbed "the Garage." Seemed a more fitting place for the Knaggits to reside. It was good to see a healthy USF fan contingent on hand to back the Bulls.
