  1. I think this is sad but true. The good news is we finally have a team that I feel confident can beat anyone in the conference. Go Bulls! Let's go for a clean sweep.
  2. In this age when all these funky metrics so outweigh head-to-head performance and the eye test, the bubble watch bites. Now we pretty much have to win every game.
  3. Because evaluating a hire should be done before the hire? From past coaches and relationships I have learned you may not be able to clearly evaluate until after the divorce is final.
  4. Had my ticket and was ready for the alumni pregame and this big game but now have a family funeral to attend. Probably just as well, given my effect at the games I have attended over the past five decades. Go Bulls!
  5. I think they are only bypassing him because he won the Hugh Durham Coach of the Year Award last year. There is Amir Abdur-Rahim fatigue.
  6. Good stuff. Lots of fun. Hope it endures and carries over. Go Bulls!
  7. University of South Florida. I'm not changing my diploma to chase current fads.
  8. A win at Charlotte pretty much clinches the AAC regular season championship and #1 seed in AAC tournament. Wow I want Tulane to be UAB by 1 after 12 overtimes.
  9. Toughest Job for CAAR Next Season: Carrying home the money it will take to extend his contract.
  10. The mind-blowing season continues. A conference-leading Bulls team wins its 13th straight game when they are badly outrebounded but are handily victorious by -- GASP -- outshooting a good team. And I just returned from a sports bar in Hickory NORTH CAROLINA (land of Tobacco Road basketball) and the feature game on the televisions was USF! Go Bulls!
  11. Yep. I hope that what I have previously donated was invested wisely as I am tapped out. I do appreciate that the NIL system has freed me up from any guilty feeling that I need to donate more.
  12. Freaking hilarious, folks that had zero interest in the team a few weeks ago forking out over a grand to see them play now Dang! If I had just kept pouring my donation and season ticket money in for another 20 years or so it would have finally paid off.
  13. Those that really matter don't announce their intent until it suits their needs. The Illuminati's Master Plan and the New World Order will play out in its own time.
  14. The first athlete didn’t even get on campus until a few years before that, Who was that guy or gal? Either way, I am celebrating, it is a moving story! Not sure who was "the first athlete" on campus but for us old-timers, USF has oft recognized Bill Keegan as its first varsity letterman. I dealt with Bill a lot in my time with the Bulls Club Board and Iron Bull fundraising efforts. Also a good guy. Bill Keegan - USF's First Varsity Letterwinner - USF Athletics GOUSFBULLS.COM BullsVision host Joel Godett sat down with former USF cross country runner Bill Keegan, who recently donated his USF memorabilia to the USF Varsity Club and was...
  15. Now you're getting back to my early days of fandom. Good stuff! BTW, the pic in the story shows Glenn Dupont, my brother's high school teammate and one of the reasons I first became a Bulls fan.
  16. Nothing we haven't seen before. No shake up? Instead of Utah, I think the CFP Committee will give Notre Dame two slots and select Bama's practice squad over Tulane.
  17. Exactly. I've watched the wacky American this year. I am not expecting any gimme putts to close out.
  18. Maybe I have lived too long and seen too much but I still think we need to finish regular season strong (better than .500) and win (or at least make a strong showing in the final) of the AAC tourney in order to get to dance. Hopefully, this team will make all that speculation moot and continue to win out. It should be fun to watch the outcome regardless. Go Bulls!
  19. Sober (at least so far this morning) and don't have anything against Houston or Cincy, but maybe any conference is "better" without those other guys whose name shall not be mentioned.
  20. Don't want to take anything away from 2018-2019, but we went 8-10 in conference that year. Our CBI final against Depaul alone consisted of 3 additional games. A great year regardless, but 2018-2019 was nothing compared to what this team is accomplishing this year. Hopefully we can finish strong, and this year will be one for our record books I tend to agree, hence why I left it out of our best records. To me, the best record would be considered to be either: (1) the best overall winning percentage (is 25 wins better if you lost 24?); or (2) A season where the team won consistently in the regular season and had a meaningful tournament presence.
