Good: We didn't get shutout on offense. Running game will be good this year. Defense will be decent also especially once Lynch gets going. Not alot of penalties. Bad WR dropping way to many balls Ugly QB play and turnovers but that was a good defense and best we will see this year so it will get easier.

I second Bench. Eveld has no business even playing division one football and Floyd well he is a turnover machine and would have given MSU 4 or 5 TDs.

Umm we don't have a qb, our oline is avg at best and we don't have much talent at WR so yeah I guess that offense should have scored a bunch vs a top 10 defense.

Hopefully he progresses durring the year...I hope just shaking rust off since he has not been in a game in a year.

The defense will keep us in games but the offense really lacks talent and it shows when we play a good defense. Lucky for us most of the defense we face the rest of the year aren't even close to MSU.

Watched WKU on ESPN 360...they look good. Can't wait to see what CWT can build here. Petrino is basically running what WKU did last year for the most part.

I really hope so. A loss to FAU will really hurt.

If he actually picks Floyd to start this game, I'll lose some faith in CWT. This team needs a lift and he'd be blind not to see the need for it right out of the gate. I don't know that Bobby will come through, but he'd sure be a heck of a lot more promising than Floyd at this point. Floyd needs to earn his way back on the field by playing backup. Same here. Floyd just looked terrible in the McNeese game. He might practice well but he doesn't appear to be a gamer at this time.

Actually watched some of the game again. It really was the perfect storm with turnovers near our own 20, safety, int for a td, floyd played like crap for the most part. The defense didn't really give up that many long drives and when they did the game was mostly over. McNeese scored like 30 points in less than 11 mins in the 2nd quarter to put the game away. I sort of feel better after watching the game again. No way do we have everything go against us like that if we have a qb that is just halfway decent. No more Floyd hopefully. Though two things do concern me lack of pressure from the dline and bad secondary play.

Let's see how we look Saturday. Certainly tough to predict a win at this point, but there is always that small chance that Saturday was a fluke.* *That was too lopsided to be a fluke I dont know they scored like 31 points in the second quarter and started like three series inside our own 50. I think it was a fluke. But McNeese is a quality team not taking away from them. This saturday will tell me everything about this season. McNeese put up 425 yards of offense, scored 53 points, and won by 32. It wasn't fluke. If we go out and finish the season well, then maybe we can comeback and argue it wasn't. And while I'll gladly give McNeese State credit, can we quit acting like they're close to being some powerhouse on the cusp of complete domination? They were 7-4 FCS team that finished third in their conference. Its a fluke McNeese scored 30 points in 11 min's in the 2nd quarter. Turnovers killed this team early.

Hey he had it tough at WKU also that was a bad program. He will be ok just give the guy some time. He inherited a bad football program. The quicker the guys buy into his system the quicker things will get turned around.

Eveld looked fine but I would like to see Bench later in the year since I would bet he is our starter next year. Floyd doesn't look ready at all maybe he does well at practice but it doesn't transfer to the game.

HOT not loud enough and What will we be ranked this week. Better days are around the corner people I have faith in CWT. He has been apart of turning around WKU and Stanford he knows what he is doing just takes time. This team forgot how to win it will come back.
