  1. Given a RS year I can see him near 220-225lbs and 6' 5" he has the tools to be a great QB. He could be the steal of the new players comming in. The foundation is being put down and I can see a very potent offense in a few years. Exciting times for USF football.
  2. I do agree you want team players but the CB position is maybe the one position that doesn’t have to be a great “team player†All he needs to do is shut down his WR, have a good season and move on to the NFL. I say take the kid we need secondary help big time. I am sure once he got around the team and got some friends he would be fine.
  3. USF should aim higher than Boise State. I see USF as a yearly NC contender when they get into a power 5 conference. The recruiting area, the tv market, and hopefully the improved records and play will allow us to get into the ACC or Big 12 during the next conference reallignment. No I think aiming for Boise State is fine, USF hasn't even won a conference championship and your talking yearly contender for the NC LOL If CWT can really lock down tampa bay talent and keeps the big time hs players from UF and FSU then and only then can we start to talk about making any sort of run at a NC.
  4. Given a whole year and if the team plays well and wins 6+ games then watch out, next years class will be our best ever. USF needs to become the boise state of the south.
  5. Forgot the old days when we use to beat Syracuse like a drum.
  6. It wouldn't take much to upgrade our last staff, I think we got a great upgrade. Might not see it for a few years but USF will turn around.
  7. Alot of experience being brought in, this was a homerun hire
  8. Would be cool but I want the best coaches CWT can land even if they went to UCF I would take them.
  9. Good hire, I like the staff CWT is putting together. He isn't pulling a holtz and bringing a bunch of his close friends to help.
  10. Sabans first year at Alabama they lost to a sunbelt team so programs aren't usually turned around in one season so so I don't expect to much in one season.
  11. He graduated from the naval academy so he should bring intensity and discipline. Something this defense has lacked since Holtz came here. I can't wait for the spring game!!
  12. This, plus I thought Oakland dumped alot of players after the 02 season so a big reason why they sucked that year.
  13. Sounds like a decent hire, like said Raiders and Bengals are hard teams to win at. He has plenty of NFL experience trust me the new crappy big east will be alot easier than going up against the Colts and Patriots. I like the hire.
  14. Felt same way here is hoping 2013 season gets things turned around
  15. The game is won and lost at the line hope cwt can build a nasty o and d line.
  16. Oregon would have been better but i dont see them winning
  17. Name a team outside sec that had a shot of beating alabama? I cant think of any.
  18. Big Louisville fan for atleast one night. Looking good so far
  19. BJ, Lamar, Landi and Bonani all made big impacts on the team.
  20. One problem with a stadium built into the ground would be flooding so pumps would be a couple million also but I do like that type of design. I would also like to see them use the extended shades on the top to help trap sound, that with the built into the ground design and it would be louder than ray jay even if it only held 50k.
  21. You talking about a retweet? If one of your follower sees a tweet from somebody they like they can send that tweet out so their followers can view it.
  22. What is impressing is to see how each year WKU got better the first year with CWT they lost 63-28, the next year lost 14 to 3... I think this was a solid hire.
  23. Its hard to get worse so thats a plus. With the right coaching and a few key players I think CWT can get the team back to pre holtz in a year or two..after that the sky is the limit. Really excited about USF football again after two bad years.
