  1. I was just about to post this. I ranked them 1st of course and then saw BULLDOGS.....WTF!!!!!! Hopefully by our first Big East Championship (next year???) they will get their shizit together.
  2. That would be awesome to secure right now for future development. Herman....it is no longer March Sadness.....its going to be a "September to Remember....4-0!"
  3. Look how important having a stellar defense is. We could be in the same predicament as Cincy. Their issues at QB look a lot like ours. Of course speed is not a problem on our team, but thank God for our Tenacious-D
  4. According to that site, USF was about $80,000 in the red for its football program (Plus $750,000 in all sports combined). UCF on the other hand was $2.9 million in the red in football (overall their sports revenue was plus $500,000)
  5. lose to McNesse State and I'll kill myself Maybe we can convince the Bulls to throw the game.....
  6. What does it matter what the reason given is? Does it change anything? Moises won the starting job, if Ponton plays, great, if not, oh well.
  7. Just imagine what the value of all that gold could do for the funding of our program.... ;D
  8. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story?id=376589&root=ncaa&cc=5901 Not sure about her track record, but she seems knowledgable. GO BULLS!!!!
  9. http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/index.php?sty=72196 The kid is a stud of a QB. He is looking at Neb, among others. I would love to have him at USF next season. If we got this kid, with our D and WRs, we would be one of the top two teams in the BE next year. I hope Leavitt and Co. are at least trying to lure him in. Guarentee him the starting job next year. But, realistically, we are probably not on this kid's radar. Too bad.....
  10. The schedule is BRUTAL. Wis hwe were fortunate enough to play the cupcake slate that the Bears play. The schedule may be the only thing keeping this team from the playoffs this year. 8-8 or better is a good season, 10-6 may be the best we can hope for.
  11. I heard they have VERY FIRMLY asked the players not to go offsides, hit late, or block in the back. This is a marked difference from last year when they simply POLITELY asked the players not to commit any penalties. Seriously though, I do not mind an occassional "agressive play" penalty (ie: Roughing the passer/ late hit) when it is in the context of playing with a high leve lof intensity, but the blockign in the back on returns and the offsides have to stop.
  12. He should have been put in the series prior to the last one. That is all I am saying. You were watching the game. The Bears had it locked up. Pope had a lot of touches. Andre should have gotten at least 8-10 carries with that type of lead.
  13. It sucks a$$. Adrian Peterson did not need an entire half. He should have gotten a quarter and a half, along with Pope and Hall.
  14. Pope is in now. Hopefully Andre will get the entire 4th Quarter with the Bears in the lead. The other two backs for Chicago haven't done squat on the ground and haven't really blocked that well.
  15. Do you have third period planning this year T-Man?
  16. This just in off the Smazza-Wire Service: QB Prospect Simms Rated Greatest Ever; Voss Demoted To Waterboy :
  17. Last year's game was horrendous. Here is my prediction on hte ending for this year's game: With the score tied at 0-0 FSU threatens late, driving down to the UM 15 yard line with 20 seconds left. With one timeout left, OC Jeff Bowden is confident FSU can run at least 2 more plays. Pressed to make a play call, Jeff remembers seeing an intriguing play called by USF in November of last season. He calls Voodoo '06 Remix. Unfortunately, the remix is as bad as the original, with the play failing again. Miami returns a fumble for a game winning touchdown as time expires.
  18. I'm just glad we are getting games set. We had far too many openings. Would still like to get some games scheduled with teams in Georgia or Mississippi.
  19. Thanks. Didn't think we would land him ,but saw this in the article.
  20. GRID BITS _Two touted quarterbacks are on the move. First, Harrison Beck has left the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Will he end up at South Florida? Second, Derek Shaw has left Arizona State and is heading to Texas Tech. Shaw, you may remember, orally committed to Miami early in the 2005 recruiting process. But he changed his mind and switched to Arizona State - and the Hurricanes signed no quarterbacks in 2005. Shaw's move to Tech is surprising, as sophomore Graham Harrell and redshirt freshman Chris Todd are vying for the starting job. Generally, you don't transfer somewhere that has young players - young players the coach (in this case, Mike Leach) says he likes - at your position. http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/sports/15266743.htm Does this guy know something, or is he just throwing crap on the wall to see if it sticks? His piece on the linebackers is interesting, even if it is not correct.
  21. They are just mad becuase Indiana only offerred them a 2 for 1. ;D
  22. Or Maybe: Front: Enjoy Our Sloppy Seconds Back: C-DOA SUCKS (with a golden U)
  23. How about something like: Front: Passed So Fast..... Back: Hey UCF, Enjoy the View
  24. "A UCF booster does everything he can to avoid the stench emanating from Head Coach George O'Leary, after enjoying his free lunch with the coach at Sonny's Bar-B-Que, which he received for buying 10 tickets to a UCF home game."
