    Cee, You know that an OCS is not in the plans how? Are you Woolard's illegitimate love child? I believe there are "plans" for an OCS, the school is simply waiting for the right time to pursue it. Listen to the talk, the powers that be want one, the fans want one, the athletics department wants one, it is just a matter of time and doing things right. The last thing I want is to sacrifice the progress we have made with a dumb investment in an OCS scheme that could hinder our growth. Let those in power with the knowledge and the expertise decide and lets sit back and ENJOY OUR BULLS ROMP TO THE BCS!!!!!

    Brogan left the administration because he was not getting along with Bush. He is in political disfavor with the state Republican party, but I did forget that he was their president now. Good catch.

    FAU plan requires LEGISLATIVE action. If you think for a minute the legislature is going to pass a bill giving money to the "historically powerful" FAU, you have another thing coming. Their alumni base is miniscule and the only power player they have, Scnhley, really isn't much of a power pleayer any more. USF needs to wait until the time is right and build a state of the art facility, not rush and try and cut costs at all corners. I personally like going to RJS for the games. The atmosphere is nice, the amenities are top notch and it is centrally located in Tampa to attract all of the PAYING fans, like myself. The ONLY financial downside to not having an OCS is not getting to keep the parking and concession revenues.

    Tampa is home of the fair-weather fan. We will support a winner and there will probably be near 50k at the game. The local coverage for the game will be tremendous and the "scandalous" talks of USF in a BCS game will be circling through the media like a sandstorm. Bottomline: Win in Storrs, this program reaches the next level; Beat WVU, we jump up another level; Win the Sugar Bowl, we out recruit UF next year....

    I am probably the only selfish soul on here who was hoping for an afternoon start time. I am in law school and I have a final exam on SUNDAY morning at 9am. Talk about ******. I will still be at the game, but I better have my s&*t together ASAP. Who the hell schedules finals on a Sunday anyways?

    If we win at UCONN this weekend our game will be on ESPN. The powers that be are just waiting to make sure there are ramifications for our game with WVU. ESPN jockeyed around their contractual obligations this weekend in order to show PSU-MSU for the Big Ten title and they will do the same for ours. The conference will want this game to be televised in primetime if it is for the championship. P.S. 79 Bull, if we beat UCONN the game with WVU is for all the marbles. We do NOT want WVU to lose for numerous reasons, which you can find mention in various posts on here.

    From some, but others on there are sane. It seems just like any other board; you get a mix of the overzealous and blind, the jaded and disgruntled, and the realistic and down-to-earth.

    I was not referring to those who are "geographically restrained" USFMikeB. but rather to cee directly who was busy posting how horrible Julmiste is (he actually had a decent game) instead of attending the game in person. THen he comes on here and complains about attendance and not having an OCS, it is purely laughable.

    I still don't see how anyone who was sitting at home for this game can get involved in a discussion over attendance issues. If you are not apart of the solution, you are apart of the problem.

    Cee, Where were you sitting at today's game? From the times on your other posts, it appears that you were AT HOME! But you probably would have been there if USF had an on-campus stadium, right? What a joke. When you start attending all of the games, then you can complain about the stadium. But if you are not going to show up, then SHUT UP

    I agree fully with Cee. Add the fact that the Bucs will be gone for 3 weekends, starting with an away game against NO on Dec. 4th and there would be ZERO reason not to have the field painted.

    Cee, the reference was not to where you live. Other posters on this board know what I am talking about. To make idiotic blanket statements with absolutely no foundation such as, "Butch Davis would have gotten us an on-campus stadium" warrants you being called an idiot. Remember, just because you state something as fact does not make it so.

    Cee you are an idiot..... Your new name on this board is South Tampa Cee. CJL made this program what it is. If he were to leave, whatever replacement coach we had would be benefiting from CJL's years of tireless work. FYI, Marquell Blackwell was a very good QB recruit, one that a "proven" coach like Davis would probably never even take a chance on. So stop talking out of your ass by saying what a coach would have definitely done if he were in CJL's shoes....none of us know and none of us care!

    Not at all looking past the Cinnci game (where the weather will be a gorgeous 75 degrees at kickoff), but it appears that USF might catch a break if the 10 Day Forecast holds form. It is showing highs near 45 degrees and lows around 30. But the most important thing is that it is showing virtually no chance of rain/snow.     It was not meant to be taken as a serious idea....just having a little fun with the "skunk" theme. I didn't actually think that we would wear the jersey, just looking for Mutt or one of the other talents on here to create a cool looking pic for a sig line on here

    How awesome would it be to play the WVU game in black and white jerseys to pay homage to the "Skunk" monicker? Those of you with the computer programs and the skills, create a picture that we can submit to the atheletic department.
