Grothe and Daniels were gamers (as well as Blackwell and Barnhardt, for those of you who go farther back), but I love the touch that White has on his passess and the field vision he seems to have. I can only hope that he will be able to improve on that and stay healthy as he progresses. Of all the qbs we had, he reminds me most of Barnhardt.
BJ and Grothe could get us out of trouble with their legs and by shere determination. I have to say I favored Grothe, probably because we were better as a team then. BJ could be deadly accurate as a passer, and then the next game be way off on his throws. It was maddening, but he was and will always be a great Bull. Personally, I hope we have the greatest Bull QB of all time every couple of years from now on out.
Go Bulls!
