    So... We lost most of our o line recruits... Good that this isn't an area of immediate need. Smh. At least our hc is hard at work recruiting.

    It's a good solid safe hire, just not the splash hire we all wanted. If he can have 4 or 5 good seasons here, I think the fan base will start to come back and money will start to roll in again. I think Leavitt and to some extent Taggart would have brought many back on board instantly.

    I don't know if I would want Leavitt back...he plateaued at 8 and 9 win seasons. That is unacceptable at USF.

    There are only like 10kish people that still follow this program... We aren't going to apply any pressure. That multi million dollar buyout will.

    Yep, the Disney + addiction is real. Beats usf football. Then again, continuously beating your head into a wall is preferable.

    I usually make most of them including away games... Went to one game this year. I just don't care anymore.

    So with USF being one of the biggest universities in the country and with great academics and located in the most fertile recruiting grounds in the country, no team in the conference should be able to stay within 14 points of us. We know this isn't the case with usf athletics being inexplicably one of the worst at men's sports in D1 over the past 30 years. We need to have a floor for football coach expectations. Mine are : 1.) make a bowl game or you are gone unless it is your first year... Anything less than 6-6 is laughably inexcusable here. 2.) recruiting needs to be #1 or #2 in conference every year or you are on thin ice. 3.) graduate players. I think those are reasonable floor level expectations. Let's get some pride back. Go Bulls!

    Recruiting under Charlie has been poor. Usf is above 5th or 6th place classes in conference. When temple and Tulane are out recruiting the team in Tampa... There's a problem.

    The real problem is strong can't recruit. Not having a kicker is on him. Plus, his current recruiting class was bad to begin with and it's falling apart.

    Meh, nobody cares about usf athletics anymore. It's been a dumpster fire for too long.

    There are seniors at usf who weren't alive the last time usf won a conference title in a major sport... Just throwing that out there.

    I think the Bulls still have talent to go. 500 in conference. Middle of the pack would still be great for a usf athletics endeavor.

    That's usf athletics in a nutshell. Mediocre in the best of times. Abhorrent any other time.
