    We're fairly good at defending short passes and runs... long throws have been out Achilles heel for years...

    I still think we are the better team. Play calling has been bad all year. Need outside runs, jet sweeps, and more short passes. This up the middle runs and long ball scheme isn't working.

    Yeah, I'm here. I'm sure the numbers will day 30k or something tickets distributed, but I think actual attendance is under 10k. I mean, we are playing rice, but I thought there would still be more.

    Do they still charge for tickets? Maybe they shouldn't...This is sad. High school style attendance.

    I don't think this game is going to be well attended. It is kind of like a high school game. I expect family, students, and some alums to be there, but who cares about Rice. Does anybody have any co workers they are going to brag to about beating Rice? Is a win going to give us national recognition or get us into the top 25? If not, attendance will be low. Even when we are winning, attendance is low unless we are playing in games with national importance. This week ain't it. We need to get back to relevancy first and then playing games with national relevancy on a near weekly basis to get fans in the door.

    I legit believe we then this thing around this year... but there is a small side of me that realizes this is USF, so it's equally likely that we lose every game, everybody gets hurt, anybody decent transfers out, we move down to fcs, a meteorite hits the IPF, and the state turns the university into a training ground for cirque du soleil clowns.

    Well we don't have a beat writer, so nobody knows anything regarding this team. We don't even know if the Bohannon is still on the team...

    Rice had like 500 fans at home for a team in the same city...

    Yeah, only area of excitement to get out of conference play going forward is to dominate, win it, and move on. Nobody in our conference is going to generate the buzz to sell out Ray j or get casual fans through the turnstiles.

    If we keep playing and eventually beat some mainsail recognized teams at home, we will start to convert people. Rice ain't going to do it, but it will be a step in the right direction to getting to the place where we can. We're kind of back to where we were in 2004 as a program.

    Did anybody else notice that the broadcast didn't mention anything about the IPF or OCS last night? They really didn't mention anything USF at all except a little history on Golesh. I think that was a big opportunity that we missed.

    QB run is the only thing that has worked so far. That needs to change if we are going to beat anybody going forward.

    Guys, I admit that I am usually a very negative person on here. I got catharsis from making fun of this program during the rough years because it was a bit of a comedy act. However, I saw something in this team that I haven't seen in years. This team plays hard, and I can give them nothing but props for that. They have half of what it takes to be successful. I think that if we can get an influx of talent to match the effort, the sky is the limit. Ive always believed that USF should never backdown to anyone, no moral victories, and championships should be the standard. It's nice to have a coach who reflects those ideas. I'm bought in. Go Bulls!

    Well, the only coverage of this team that we have are amateur fans, so who knows...

    I believe us, uconn, and Tulane are the only schools that used to be in a power conference but are not any longer.

    If we don't get into a power conference in the next few years, I think we just have to resign ourselves to small time football, moral victories, and little coverage of the team. The diehards will still be around even if few others care.

    I don't know why everybody is saying just stay healthy!? Where's that Bulls mentality? Beat that booty! I want to stomp these guys! Fear nobody!

    FAMU is an in state rivalry for us.

    I don't see attendance getting much better until we are playing schools people have heard of at home. These games don't really matter except we hope to win them so we don't have to pay these teams in the future.

    He hasn't won the national championship every year that he has been at Bama. That is the standard there and he has failed.

    If we can't make it to a bowl with this weak booty schedule, we need to neuter all the bull statues around campus!
