  1. Can't tell if you're trolling or not. It isn't the strategy that is beating us right now. The players are absolutely playing relaxed. They need a good pep talk. USF has actually had a good game plan today, even from Woodie, who actually brought some pressure
  2. If I'm Taggart, I call a time out, and light a fire under this team's a$$. This isn't even UConn playing well. We are just not focused.
  3. Never thought USF would want anything about Tulane, but its true
  4. Tulane's defense is considerably better than ours. DT Tanzel Smart, LB Nico Marley, and CB Perry Nickerson could all be playing on Sundays
  5. Exactly. We have two more teams to weigh us down. But easily our top 10 > their top 10. It's sad that with such a small disparity, they are considered 'haves'. I hope the AAC sticks together and raids WVU, OKST, TTU, and TCU to get to 16 once the big 2 leave, and the rest of the country sees how garbage they are....
  6. You can argue that maybe Baylor is better than USF, but thenot again easily say Navy is better than Oklahoma state and that UCF is better than Texas. I just don't see how you can say the b12 is better
  7. Obviously I have nothing to base this head to head comparison off of besides my own opinion, but to me, Houston > Oklahoma USF > Baylor Memphis < WVU Navy = Oklahoma state Tulsa < TCU UCF < Texas Temple = Kansas State Cincinnati = Texas Tech ECU > Iowa state UCONN, SMU, and Tulane are all 3 individually > Kansas Looks like AAC > Big 12 to me. If anything, it's pretty even. Just ditch the bias
  8. The AAC minus SMU sure is better than the Big 12. In fact, win % wise, even with SMU we are better. Actually, in most computers and polls, it will give credit to beating ranked teams, so if media bias gives Big 12 members the ranking prematurely, obviously their SoS will be inflated. For an example, look how Texas rose to #11 for beating a terrible Notre Dame team. Now Texas is 2-3, as well as Notre Dame. I would with 100% confidence say that top to bottom, the AAC is better
  9. We haven't done the Rodney Adams jet sweep I'm a little while now. It's been since Syracuse since I personally have seen it. Feel free to correct me though, I'm sure we have
  10. I really am not getting your logic, since neither of them have a conference loss? How does either one of them winning or losing effect us at all? It doesnt. It only would if one of them had a loss, then you could say we should cheer for that team. Strange post, and since we play Temple sooner, GO OWLS!
  11. There really is nothing better than being a loud obnoxious (but not annoying) drunk at these games. Can't wait til the UCF game and the championship game. I'll never miss another home game again after that. Go Bulls!
  12. Who cares if our offense scores 35 when our new defense likely gives up 45 to last year's Navy team?
  13. People calling for a rematch of Navy last year didn't read the question right. This team would get pummeled by last year's Navy team... we wouldn't have stopped them on the ground at all. My pick is either McNeese or Wisconsin. That game was very winnable, and clearly OOC games are where we need to make a name for ourselves. Even though our conference is statistically better than the Big 12
  14. All of you losers crying about 'running up the score' need to go get yourselves participation trophies. It's pretty simple. If you don't want to play anymore, forfeit the game.
  15. I doubt a 7-1 team with a quality loss and a string of decent wins will be left out. We lack a signature win, but Syracuse, UConn, Cincy, Temple, ECU wouldn't exactly be a terrible schedule.
  16. I suspect if we win out, we rank about #14, and if they win out, about #8 (simply because that would mean they beat Louisville too). So pretty close. That would be sweet. And no better time for them to lose than a mid season loss to my boys at Navy!
  17. All it takes is a couple weeks of being ranked. The hype will come back then
  18. The announcers seemed ready to put Memphis at #2 in the conference, making only slight reference to USF. I'm fine with that, as Memphis has a pretty easy schedule before our game with them. I suspect both us will be ranked for that game. At least will make for an entertaining game
  19. I got mine a few months after winning mine last year. You'll get it, it just might take awhile lol
  20. Its not to say USF can't be a top 15 team. We are just saying that we aren't there yet. So I don't get how people are saying that holding Cincy to 20 is not our A game. If that is the case, then we haven't played our A game all year. If that is the case, don't you think that maybe we just aren't as good as you think we are? I think next year, the sky is the limit for us. But for now, let us enjoy our high 20s (ranking wise) talent level team, as we go for the best record in school history. Next year we can look at a top 15 ranking, with everyone outside Adams returning, and a more manageable OOC schedule. Oh, and Houston won't have Greg Ward
  21. We aren't good enough to shut out Cincy. Our A game is holding them to 20 like we did. USF isn't a top 15 team. We are more like 28-32 ish
  22. I'm not sure what you think our A game is then? QF had one of his best games, so did mack. We didn't really have many drops... that was definitely our A game in my book.
  23. I think we have the slight edge in being the second best team in the conference next to Memphis, but you could argue that USF is #3. I think most people in here are just pumped, because USF hasn't been good enough for #2-3 in the conference in a long time, even though we feel like we should always be that good, considering where we recruit at. But you're right, that we still don't know if USF is #20 in the country or #60. There is a lot of football left to be played, and the Cincy game tonight will be our first even match of the year.
