  1. Hayden Moore throws it right into the hand of Purdue's hands. Have to wonder if this 24-7 lead is mostly due to the lack of competence from Purdue
  2. Wow! Do we all remember what James Summers did last year in relief duty at QB?? Well it might just happen again, what an awesome TD run. He is the best back up QB in the conference.
  3. NC State has left 4 points on the board out of stupidity now. Going for 2 at a weird time, and a fake FG? Maybe they don't have faith in their kicker
  4. Absolutely terrible targeting call on UCF now. I really am not understanding these rules. The Michigan player looked to turn up field already, so I am just not getting the defenseless aspect. Call me crazy, but this is a huge turn off of the whole college game to me right now. I understand calling helmet to helmet penalties for WRs going across the middle, but this is getting a little ridiculous
  5. Well, ECU, Cincy, and UCF have all scored TD's within the last 2 minutes. Go AAC!
  6. NC State going for 2 when they are up 1 in the second quarter is one of the stupidest things I've seen in a little while. Almost as dumb as UCF accidentally sending the punt team out on 3rd and 33
  7. Most media is clueless about our conference. They are still the worst team in the conference, imo. And no, I'm not even a UCF hater. Tulane just has a very stiff, underrated defense, and I see SMU scoring a ton on them. They have work to do.
  8. I don't get the whole targeting rule. An ECU safety smacked a NC State WR with the side of his shoulder, and it didn't hit him in the helmet either. Yes, he went high, but is hitting high against the rules too? The ball was high. I just don't get what the defense is supposed to do. It almost seems like the targeting rule is about not hitting the WR so hard, instead of about what area you hit the guy.
  9. Wow. UCF is in this Michigan game. I mean, if you take away two blocked punts and a blocked FG in the first quarter lmao
  10. Wow ECU's offense looks like the real deal today! Any one else thinking that they might be our biggest challenger in the east?
  11. Not a chance to be ranked until we beat NIU and Syracuse convincingly. Even then, we will be lucky to get 25. Not saying its fair, but that is the hand we are being dealt.
  12. Next year as a team, we look to be even better too, since most of our talent is in the junior / sophomore class. We may very well be favored in all 4 OOC games next year by a good margin. And we know how tough the AAC slate is (sarcasm). Next year could be an absolute monster year as far as win totals go. I also think this can work in our favor, having a soft OOC schedule next year, since Houston is proving the AAC is relevant this year, and USF should be ranked by the end of the year. So if we have 11+ wins next year? Could be a very nice finish
  13. Oh yeah, world beaters Tennessee and Florida hahha ok bro man. Did you see app state dominate tennessee??
  14. SDSU has won like 10+ straight dude, are you serious? If you can't name a couple players off the top of your head from their team, then please don't just judge them from the school name. They are probably more deserving of a ranking than half the teams on here
  15. I like it when people hear what I have to say. So I'll post it on this thread too. Also, I wish I could up vote my own posts. But anyway, as someone who watched as much college ball as you could this weekend, here are my rankings 1. Alabama 2. Clemson 3. FSU 4. Ohio St 5. Michigan 6. Houston 7. Stanford 8. Washington 9. Louisville 10. Wisconsin 11. Georgia 12. Michigan St. 13. Iowa 14. Texas A&M 15. Oklahoma St 16. Oklahoma 17. TCU 18. Baylor 19. Ole Miss 20. Oregon 21. Texas 22. Boise St. 23. BYU 24. Utah 25. San Diego St Notable teams left out: Notre Dame 26, LSU 27, Tennessee 28, Florida 29, USF 30
  16. I'm bored, so here is my rankings. 1. Alabama 2. Clemson 3. FSU 4. Ohio St 5. Michigan 6. Houston 7. Stanford 8. Washington 9. Louisville 10. Wisconsin 11. Georgia 12. Michigan St. 13. Iowa 14. Texas A&M 15. Oklahoma St 16. Oklahoma 17. TCU 18. Baylor 19. Ole Miss 20. Oregon 21. Texas 22. Boise St. 23. BYU 24. Utah 25. San Diego St Notable teams left out: Notre Dame 26, LSU 27, Tennessee 28, Florida 29, USF 30
  17. Very strange rankings. Notre Dame still at 9??? Way too high. WVU at 40?? Way too low. I think Oregon and Miami might be above us atm. Ole miss lower than 10. Washington higher than 11. Just a lot of weird rankings
  18. You may be the only other person who said that besides me. But I said it on the basis that FSU lacked a QB, but Deondre Francois looked so awesome, and will only get better as the season goes on. Who is better is still up for debate in my opinion, and that question didn't get any more clear after week 1.
  19. I admitted that they should probably drop back to 6 with Memphis and Tulsa passing them up, but still ahead of Cincy, UConn, and ECU. Again, this was based on who I would bet on to win at a neutral site. And Jahad Thomas is expected to be back. Phillip Walker will be better. Temple will still be an 8-9+ win team in my opinion
  20. hopefully 5. I would like to see Oladokun redshirt.
  21. I would say we get FSU at the perfect time, too. Before us, they play a Louisville team that is firing on all cylinders, (hopefully for us, FSU wins by a narrow margin) and right after us, they play North Carolina. We may actually be over looked, even if we are 3-0 heading into the game.
