Winning the conference championship is more important than going to a NY6 bowl, in my opinion.

Last year a good San Diego State team lost to South Alabama, they could always trip up to one of their "fairly easy wins".

Agreed. We also have east coast bias on our side. No way an undefeated USF is shut out. AAC ranks higher than MWC

Agreed but it would still suck to play in the St. Pete Bowl or whatever they call that ****** bowl.

If SDSU also goes undefeated they could jump USF. They would have a better resume than we would. We needed them to lose yesterday.

Too close to call.  San Diego also finished last season by di
smantling a talented Houston team.  We have the cache of Flowers and Charlie Strong who the voters seem fond of.  We gotta focus on winning the conference.  Temple and UCF namely.

I hope so, and it is plausible. That being said SDSU is a real threat for the Peach Bowl slot.

Aresco and the other G5 Commissioners should organize or schedule a "play in" game. To me, that would be even more compelling than a bowl game. Bowl games, in many cases, are let downs anyway with coaches moving around and long layoffs during holidays.

But that would  exacerbate our second class status as a G5
