I thought they weren't allowed to discuss specific recruits until they're signed..

But I bet he doesn't get any second chances with weed. His first trouble with weed at the swamp, they will kick him out.

"While coaches planned to take Robinson, who was likely to choose to join the Gators on National Signing Day, the Florida administration blocked that move on Monday afternoon."

Nothing publicly then, that's just what I was wondering about ...

What's funny is, I work with a DIE HARD Gator alum/fan, and today, around 10 AM, I asked him about Robinson.

He was instantly, "Hell, no, we don't want him.  He's got drug issues, and Mac runs a clean program.  We don't need him, and UF President told Mac he can't sign him.  Maybe the Canes or Criminoles will take him".

Me to him at 4 PM:  "Hey, looks like your Gators signed Robinson".

Him:  "Yeah, the kid's a stud who made a stupid mistake.  Hell, over half these players smoke weed, he just happened to get busted.  Urban probably set him up. We're all about 2nd chances at UF".

Seriously...painful, and yet more reason I can't stand the Gators.
