Maybe the deal about the number is as simple as he was promised it and didn't get it. I would be pissed if I were lied to as well if that is the case. Maybe he is just fine coming here under any # knowing that we are not telling him he is getting #3.

See what he can do.   CWT and the other coaches have dealt with this in the past and I am sure if they got the sense that he did not have the right mindset they would have passed on him.

Not sure about that.  Did not take classes, did not play a down and got a signed release.   Might be able to sneak it under the wire.   Anyway, he is a Freshman, lots for him to learn.

Maybe, but I can't imagine its that important to transfer and sit a year. Just me though.

Cherry was taking classes at texas...there was a guy on the texas board saying he was in a class with him.
