Only watched the last 10-15 minutes, but ECU was definitely playing rough tonight.

I'm thinking they put us in UCONN to guarantee 2 teams from the AAC couldn't make it to the final 4 and/or title game since that would make the power 5 look really bad

Boise is a play in for a 11 seed not a 16. Also SMU was ranked last year and didn't even make the tourney. The committees doesn't  care about AP rankings.

Tough win against Tulane. That's another quality win (RPI #51) to have in front of the NCAA basketball committee. Our RPI iimproved to #24. That might have earned us a #6 seed.

IMO, Nope. We didn't do enough last year, and we did more than Tulane did this season.  Having said that, I hope that they do get in.

Big game going on between Cal and Stanford. Cal is up by 2 at the half. We want Cal ( AP #26) to lose because they are one place ahead of us in the receiving vote category. Hopefully, some other team drops out and we replace them. Also, Cal RPI is #22 and we are #24. It would help to secure our seeding if they dropped down behind us.

In the Big Ten Championship game Unranked Ohio State just came up short on Maryland (74-77).  I don't know the betting line, but it's probably near what it will be against UConn. Big upsets do happen, from time to time. That's why they play the games out.

Right now it looks like USF will be a #7 seed but be the host of the bracket led by Louisville. The Cards are the only of the top 16 seeds that did not put in for a hosting spot. So better for USF to move down from 6 to 7 and host

BTW, FSU lost to Notre Dame by 13, in the ACC championship.

Also, Chattanooga escaped a scare winning in OT to East Tenn St.

Meanwhile, Stanford is up by 5 on Cal with 5 minutes remaing in the Pac 12 championship.

#26 Cal lost to #19 Stanford by one point. Hopefully, USF, #27, will get ranked tomorrow.
