For FWIW, MANY players right up through this current (graduating) class were Kelly recruits. Guy is money. Dd he lie to the NCAA, no clue. But, he can recruit and coach, just look at the WR's he put in the League.

 

IIRC, he lives in Tampa, and his daughter is a student athlete.

He is not dirty. Bad situation brought on by a criminally ignorant AD in my opinion. He would be a spectacular hire.

Truth be told, IIRC, O'Leary was not involved in any way, but the NCAA caught some people being less than honest, boom.  

 

 

Basketball....all told the truth ( but still got busted for missteps), AD lied 7 ways from Sunday, and probably brought down Mr. Kelly.

 

That is from total recall which at my age is no longer total recall. Reader beware!
