He tried to spread it out with Flowers and give room to create, but the line allowed penetration and even that idea got blown up. Everything hinges on the O line being competent.

Maybe, just maybe, this offensive line simply isn't going to overpower teams and have them succumb to their will. There's a reason we've run the spread forever. Misdirection allows smaller line and shifty players in space to make plays.

Try adapting your strategy, Willie. Get kids like Mack and Adams in space and watch them juke defenders and break 1 tackler, instead of plowing Mack into 6 guys and expecting him to come out of the pile a winner. Or, having Adams not be able to get open before the line collapses.

Winner winner chicken dinner!

But he won't because he's too stubborn

Its too easy....Its not convoluted enough to run. We need to run an offense that takes 3 years to learn and requires 5 star Oline recruits to run effectively.

We are getting there though
