After one game, Nole fans went crazy and the team is changing helmet color, facemask color, AND uniform design.  Precedence has been set.

We agree to disagree, but I like the green matte helmet.  I'm hoping it's a road only option and the chrome gold becomes a home only option.

Ew, a matte helmet in gold?  Gold is meant to be metallic, not flat.

Matte gold as a color already has a name, it's called pee stain.

Matte only works well with certain colors, gold is not one of them. Just look at paint on the wall to get a good idea of matte looks like. I have never seen a good looking gold in matte. Green though does look good in matte so the green helmets might look very good. Won't know until we actually see them on the field.
