I haven't read everything on the board so I may have missed it, but I think the nod needs to go to the O Line if it hasn't already. It was night and day from last year. This game was not a case of White having no time and no back runs for 275 yards without blockers even against cupcakes. Hats off!

Agreed.  I think there were some rough moments during the last game, but overall, they protected White and created some great holes for Mack to run through.

Much tougher test this weekend, I hope they are up to the task.

This should be a great gauge as to where the team is.  I fully anticipate losing, but there is always that chance.  Based on CCB's adjustments from the week one debacle last year and the Michigan St. game, I expect the defense to be able contain Maryland (at least at first).  That said, Maryland is a lot more competent on offense than Sparty was when we faced them.

The key for USF this week will be that O-Line. If they can pass protect and open some holes on a Maryland front that gave up 160 yards on the ground to JM, then USF should keep it close.  If the line gets dominated by MD in the first half, then USF's defense will be on their heels in the 2nd half, and we will lose by a large margin.  I hope the first scenario happens and we have a good ball game.  Either way, go Bulls!

This is spot on.

O-LINE is better.

QB is not...

How good is Maryland's defense this year?

When watching it live, the O-line seemed very weak, since White was so rattled.

On the reply, while focusing on the line play, they seemed much much better.

Agree that White is a larger problem than the line.

Still not sure how good the line is, but we'll see tomorrow.

We definitely have a decent chance with our line, they're bigger than the MD DL so if they can stay healthy we'll be okay. QB? dunno...

The D is the issue and Dunkley needs to play his heart out. It still may not be enough.

Dunkley played fairly well for his 1st start ever at CB. WCU tested him numerous times. My only concern with him is that while he made all the tackles, he failed to get his head around and locate the ball to break up the pass quite a few times. This has to change this week, or we will be in trouble.

Sig his technique was terrible. The WRs tomorrow will be different. He relies on athleticism and that won't cut it.

You bet MD watched film.

What happened to Lamar Robbins?

He was starting last year and I don't know if I saw him on the field last Saturday.

Pretty sure sig addressed the "terrible" part in the quote above ...

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
