Email I received:

I want to take this opportunity to announce that Eric Soncrant has resigned from his position with the USF Bulls Club.  Eric deserves recognition for his contributions to USF Athletics, specifically for the many relationships he has built with you, our donors and supporters.  I know you’ll join us in wishing him the very best in his future pursuits and thanking him for all his efforts to ensure the continued success of USF Athletics.

Sincerely,

There ain't a horse that can't be rode and a cowboy that can't be throw'd.

Now lets find the person or people to reverse the stagnation within USF athletics and make us the number one athletics program in the country.

Hear, hear.  Eric Soncrant, nice guy but no longer a Bull by job and in fact, a Chippewa.  Good luck in the future Eric Soncrant but now lets find ourselves a new Bull or even a Bull who wants to be a Bull in athletics.  Let's start cultivating some serious homerism in the Athletics building.

So we still don't know where he's going next?

Good luck, Eric, wherever it is!

“This is not a broken football program by any means. It just needs to be united, to get everybody on the same page, share that same vision, and really to have that standard - best is the standard.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
