Come on man.  Unless you're his son, and you talk with him every day, you have no idea what he is like in person, or how he handles himself publicly.  A speech is the worst possible thing to judge a person's character on.  True character is assessed in how someone handles themselves without a camera and microphone on him.

TBF, tales of this guy being an ******* are voluminous.  I don't know him nor anybody who has dealt with him personally so I don't know, but usually those stories are out there for a reason.

I'm with Leviathan.  Kelly was certainly a fierce competitor, and had real swag at UM before the knuckleheads turned it into something trashy.

 

That said, I don't think we want any problem children on the team...but even THAT said, we don't know what events led to the melt down, so hard to evaluate.
