I am not patient enough to see how everything that happened earlier plays out in the next few weeks. I don't know if we are supposed to be happy or worried about anything.

That's easy, travel at light speed, around a large mass, and time will slow for you but remain constant outside of your orbit, and when youbreak orbit, you would have traveled forward in time.
