That's essentially what that is. Participation trophies aren't worth several hundred dollars. It's a way to pay athletes that aren't getting paid. Apparently it's not worth nearly what KD is asking for it. Also, you mean in addition to all the other swag they get for going to the bowls? Trust me, rings aren't all they get.
