0.8 seconds left. I know this is random, but does anyone happen to know if there is a rule regarding tips versus catch-and-shoots in this situation? Not that it ever comes up or anything.

You can catch and shoot , but you have to try to bounce it off the top of the backboard. Good question, though.

Very fortunate to escape, but getting beaten on the boards v a smaller FAMU team doesn't bode well for the near term future.

 

I thought we'd win by 15-20, but maybe this is a let down/hangover from the FlaGulf win.

 

We get Miss St. next...they are 7-2, and if we don't get it together, it'll be UGLY.

I hope we're 11-2 going into the Memphis games after wins vs. Mississippi and UNLV in Vegas and Bradley on the road. Sure would be a nice start!

 

...Could be 12-1 at that point but I really need to get over that Detroit game...I just can't

It's already ugly, but a win is a win is a win.

 

I never lost faith that our boys would come through, but man they looked bad out there tonight.

 

Absolutely no hustle. We very nearly got seriously served.

 

But we didn't

Let's just hope it's a classic case of playing down to the opponent , and that we'll play up to better opponents.
