Not sure if it's been said elsewhere, but:

 

A year ago I watched Marcus Shaw (on TV) storm petulantly off the field after an argument with a coach, only to be brought back by other members of his team.  

 

This afternoon, I saw Marcus Shaw giving what I would assume to be words of encouragement to a young Darius Tice after his fumble.  

 

That's leadership.  Love what I saw there.  I was pretty vocal about the storm-off, so figured it would only be fair to come back and acknowledge a moment of leadership on his part, and say I'm proud of him.

He was on pace for about 1400 yards. Too bad about the injury.

If he plays Thursday and if White can look anything like he did when he took his HS team to a state championship, then I like our chances. It would be huge to get one on a good Houston team!

no doubt-- a lot of the reason we haven't been scoring TDs is because Shaw has been out imo

Lol, yeah no doubt. Nice cameo appearance by Derek Dooley, he got yelled at too, you can tell by his face that was no cheerleading session.
