I heard Jameis Winston is going to transfer to USF... We should be fine next year as long as his hardship clears.

I heard it's dependant on if he wins a national title this season or not. He wants to be the first player to win national titles at Two schools.

O'Korn is getting better every week. When was the last time we had a QB throw five TDs in a game? Probably never.

O'Korn is getting better every week. When was the last time we had a QB throw five TDs in a game? Probably never.

 

 

Throwing 5 tds is typical for a veteran Houston qb, we never had a true freshman do that, at least not that I can recall unless Piland and/or Kolb did it in 2010.

 

Most TD passes thrown in a game by a UH qb:

 

David Klingler- 11 TD passes in a game (84-21 win over Eastern Washington, 1990)

Andre Ware- 6 TD passes in a game (95-21 win over SMU, 1989)

Kevin Kolb- 6 TD passes in a game (multiple games never threw beyond that)

Case Keenim- 9 TD passes in a game (73-34 win over Rice, 2011)

John O'Korn*- 5 TD passes in a game (49-14 win over Rutgers, 2013)

You missed at least a couple more:

Jimmy Klingler - 7 TD passes (61-34 win over Rice, 1992)

David Piland - 5 TD passes (56-17 win over Memphis, 2010)

 

And the craziest stat...  UH has 2 QBs who have thrown at least 5 TDs in one quarter.  David Klingler threw 6 and Andre Ware threw 5.

what is our offensive personality and philosophy?

 

how can a florida team not be pass happy?

 

not being a  power conference team it will be hard to attract good recruits here

Tell that to Boise St.  A good coach and talent evaluator gets the most out of his players.
