Last 4 Crystal Balls for Clarke say USF( all flipped from Wisky) and most of them are Upper Midwest analysts. We are looking real good here I think. 247 has this kid as 4 stars. Big time position of need with Dede leaving.

Love to have him, but I'm not really worried about linebacker next year.  We have Cliett and Harris returning along with  Bullock and Whitehurst and a couple of other youngsters.  Most of the time we only have two LBs on the field anymore.  Most any other position would be a bigger need.

Whitehurst and Bullock have little game experience and I would really like the team to be at least 5 or 6 linebackers deep at the start of next year.

We also had Hans Louis making a little noise at LB this year.  I think we'll be 5 or 6 deep with what we already have.

THAT is my biggest concern.  Whitehurst & Bullock are fast (Harris, too), but don't have much bulk.  Cliett has good size, but otherwise, I don't see us having much beef at the Backer...which will be even a bigger concern if we don't fully reload at DL.

Momentum for him has definitely swung our way. 247 predictions have gotten him to 50/50 with Wisky and I think the ones that haven't flipped haven't been paying attn. No word since October about a new commit date. He may be a "silent" who is gonna do the hat dance. Some good analysts think he has flipped our way though.

 

  BTW He was named a 2nd Team JUCO All American along with D. Hill. This would be a quality add.
