come on

did you guys really really think bj was an nfl qb?

He looked like one of the best in the preseason...

against 3rd string in an exhibition game

i could get specific but the long and short of it is simple---bj was never an nfl qb   NEVER

He was and he still is, smazza.  But seriously, why are you so adamant about condemning the talents of a kid who represents the school you claim to support?  Everyone else here is excited to see BJ succeed, and all you want to do is come in here and piss all over it.  You were in here talking this crap all through the preseason, and when he made the 49ers roster, you went silent.  Then he gets waived and you pop back up, but since it was announced the Seahawks picked him up, you've again stopped commenting.

It's called "attention-seeking."

Every reply to his post gets him excited.  It's like that annoying kid at the playground that doesn't leave you alone.  And every time you turn around to tell him to go away, he comes back full force.

What part of "He was a QB on the SF 49s" don't you get ?  Last I checked the 49s are in the NFL and he was third string and that would make him an NFL QB.

I just wish he went to the Eagles, he might actually see the field.

Great for B.J! Silly move by the niners. B.J. has much more potential than Skelton and now Seattle has knowledge of their playbook.

Either way, I am happy that he is still on a team!

It was a great move by Seattle but will everyone quit with the playbook crap? It's no like San Fran runs some secret offense, and signals not only change week to week, but also during games. Beej won't have any inside on that.

This isn't the 1950s

So if it's not about that, then why is it a great move by Seattle?  Is that just the Bulls fan talking or is there a more practical reason?

Bulls fan. They kept BJ from rejoining the Niners.

So you don't think there was any strategy involved there?  Okay den.

The thing about BJ is he is more like Seattle, SF and Philly's starting QBs so he would be a great fit for any of those teams. Only problem is that only the Eagles have an old QB that might needs replacing soon barring injury.

There was sole strategy there, but not as much as some would believe. Again, signal, terminology, and such changes quarter by quarter in the NFL. And when the Niners play the Seahawks again they'll be completely new.

With free agency, etc, its designed to be this way.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
