Eveld clearly should have been the starting qb.  Question is would it have made a difference.

What did Taggart see in practice that convinced him Floyd should have been the starter? Eveld has been solid.

So hard to tell how guys will react in the game vs. practices/scrimmages, but you're right, Eveld is playing very well so far

I get that. But one of Floyd's passes was thrown to an imaginary recover.

Did he in practice/scrimmage?

Let's worry about right now, Taggart has a guy in now who is playing better than the starter.

Would a win tonight be the biggest come back in school history (from a deficit standpoint)?

Going to be a long year. Recruits on Twitter still seem optimistic. Saying wait till CWT gets his players.

Floyd wasn't having problems stopping McNeese's offense.  Although he did give them about 14 points so far off two turnovers, so far, the D has been the most glaring problem, same as last year.

I think so. Floyd gift wrapped 2 tds. Completely different ball game.

Can we get a turnover or two the next couple of MSU drives?

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
