It's a sad day in TicketLand when it costs more to ship the tickets than it does to purchase them.

On the plus side, however, it does say that "your seats will be together" .

Which is sort of interesting. $2.99 is very close to zero. What would motivate someone to try to get

$6.00? Isn't there a point where you just give them away and be done with it?

Could have been his Rutgers pals messing with him again.

actually it was a university of   michigan lawyer

it is pretty funny that we sell tickets for 3 dollars also

we might as well give them away to schools and senior citizens and get publicity

my rutgers pals are so full on themselves being in the big 10 and having a top 20 recruiting class

when you consider where rutgers was 15 years ago in football it is quite shocking

Actually is not USF selling those tickets but fans that bought season tickets in those areas. I believe those are the top deck corners which sold as part of the 75 dollar family package deal so now some are being sod individually on stub hub.

Do not let the facts get in the way of yet another bitchfest by our resident Drama Queen. :)

please stick to the issues and dont get personal

Everyone know the restaurant Sweet Tomatoes. I really like their food. They run coupons in the Sunday paper, basically every week, thus every time I go there I have a coupon.

Now lets say I am out driving and hungry, and I drive by a Sweet Tomatoes, but I don't happen to have a coupon with me. Do I stop, Not a Chance! Why, because in my mind the food isn't worth full price because I always have a coupon. When too many discounts and deals are in the marketplace, customers lose their willingness to pay full price.

Cheap tickets for the I-AA game isn't too bad, but wow did I hate when we put tickets up via Groupon and other deals. This was always the battle between butts in the seats versus bring in the most money. USF needs to correctly value its program to both season ticket holders and single game buyers.  (this isn't a post USF revelation I had, I was saying this stuff from the inside too - I always knew who would agree with me, and who had to be convinced)

It is ok to have cheap seats, as long as the quality of the least expensive tickets fit their price.

Agree Mike, however we need butts in seats.  I do not like having visitors in the seats in front of me, but when we are not selling those seats to USF fans they need to be filled.  Also, the trick is to turn those one timers into regular ticket buyers, into season ticket holders.  That takes skill, and a step up model that makes sense.  Tell you, the Lightning know how to do this.  We buy tickets on their ticket exchange.  They have data mined and saw our buying patterns.  Been invited to two private functions and now a third for a corporate event.  Not asking me to buy, but getting me tied into the program, and making me WANT to be part of that program.

BTW, you were still the best rep I have had....
