Love to see it happen, and I'm not saying it won't, but an owl is a little bit different from a bull.

 

That being said, unless they train it to do something War Eagle-ish, I'd imagine having a live owl at the games is only slightly more entertaining than if UC Santa-Cruz would start featuring a live banana slug courtside.

 

Still, not quite as unfortunate as poor SCC's football team...
