What is it with shirts/practice jerseys this preseason.   Our new (but old former in the past) D.C., Lance Guidry, is bringing back his "Defense with an Attitude" mentality.   So he has had some practice jerseys with D.W.A. instead of numbers made up on them.   The 11 starters on defense get to wear the jerseys while the backups have to wear their numbers during practice.   If a guy works his way up on the depth chart, he gets a D.W.A. jersey and the guy he replaces has to go back to his old number practice jersey.

Does anyone know when the first scrimmage is?

On the schedule provided to media, scrimmages were not identified, only "practice". I imagine you'll hear from onsite guys like Greg when they spring the first scrimmage.

I really think it is Bench vs Floyd for the starting gig, advantage Bench.  From the bits and pieces we've heard, White isn't ready.  And I get the feeling that Eveld just isn't what they are looking for in a QB.
